There’s nothing to dislike, parking was adequate but tight and the only other thing was that we needed to leave at 10am which was a tad early for us.

We had driven down from Glasgow for a family event and received a warm welcome, cuppa and a piece of lemon drizzle cake. Lovely hotel with really nice room and lots of nice touches such as sweets in room along with the usual teas/coffee/biscuits. The breakfast was outstanding and when we said we were in the mood for tapas they offered to book a lovely local restaurant for us which resulted in us getting a 10% discount on our meal which was a nice surprise.

excellent breakfast with a daily special option. The breakfast room and bar were a nice surprise. Really huge, airy bedroom big enough for 4 adults. Tea tray better than most we have seen...these hosts deserve all the business they can get.

Found the toilet in our room a little bit strange, I see it was for saving water but took a little while to get used to it..

The staff where very polite and very helpful.The room was very clean and very comfortable and the bathroom fasilitease where clean and well set out.The breakfast was very nice and a lot to choice from .We will go back again .

The hotel was very conveniently situated, not far from the seafront and near the railway station. The room and bed were quite large for a single. The breakfast area is spacious and tastefully done out. There was a good variety of things to eat for breakfast, including plenty of fresh fruit. The manager very kindly gave me my breakfast on the morning of my departure even though it was very early and also gave me a lift to the station.

Nothing not too like everything was fab had a lovely time.

First time visiting Torquay found the hotel excellent very clean and friendly lovely people could not do enough for you and absolutely nothing was a trouble for them, was greeted with coffee and cake on arrival room very clean and spacious breakfast absolutely beautiful lots off choice locations everything was just perfect will definitely be back thankyou so much Angela&Asim.

Nothing at all I cannot think of anything else we could possibly have needed during our stay.

Location and facilities were fantastic and the breakfast choices were exceptional. Our host's could not do enough for us and the price for three nights was fantastic value. I really cannot reccomend the Glendower enough and we had a wonderfull stay.

A wonderful welcome from Janette and Ian, who could not have been more helpful. Our rooms were large, comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with lots of choice. In addition, they catered for a gathering of family and friends, providing an outstanding buffet.We would highly recommend The Glendower.

We liked it all and will book again when back at the theatre.

We were going to an evening theatre performance so booked into The Glendower. Parking was easily available either on site or on the road outside. We were greeted by our host and had a chat over a lovely tea tray. Our room was as expected, clean and comfortable. There was a good range of food to eat at breakfast and the cooked brekkie was fabulous.

Janette was a very welcoming host. Nothing was too much trouble. Ian's cooked breakfasts were incredibly tasty and of the highest quality. The fresh fruit bowl was the nicest and freshest I've ever seen. The quirky nature and details of the communal areas were lovely. Generous complimentary drinks choice in the room, along with biscuits and little jars of sweets. Also fresh milk and iced water in the room every day. We honestly can't speak highly enough of the hosts and their lovely little hotel.
