Great location, great access and close enough to get into Sandwich but far away enough to enjoy real peace and quiet. The property is very well maintained and clean and Maggie is a generous and welcoming host. We had a lovely room and an incredibly comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with a varied menu and we really enjoyed our stay. It was great to be outdoors all day walking (despite the December weather) and to come back to such a cosy place. I'm sure we'll be back.

Goss Hall is absolutely stunning... a beautiful home away from home! The room was beautiful with a lovely ensuite bathroom for a bubble bath. Stunning views overlooking the ducks and lake...even with the rain it was beautiful ! The breakfast was very yummy. Feeling very recharged after our little night away before baby comes along... ♡ oh and the PERFECT HOSTS ... !!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in this most beautiful of properties. The hostess could not have been more helpful, the rooms were tastefully decorated and breakfast was delicious. The property was a 5 minute drive from Sandwich where we enjoyed dinner each evening.

The location was lovely and the grounds were beautiful unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind to us but on a lovely day it would have been nice to explore the gardens. Our host was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good.

Absolutely nothing

First and foremost, Maggie- she was a kind and details oriented host from start to finish: from the friendly welcome, to booking us into a popular restaurant at short notice, finding us somewhere to stay for our last day in the area ( they were, understandably, fully booked) to helping us plan our sightseeing: nothing was too much trouble. Our room was huge, well appointed with stunning views- and the breakfast cooked to order, quite delicious right down to the warm croissants. Really, really did not want to leave……

I couldn't seem to shut one of the shutters on the window meaning that when it got light, this came streaming in through the window.

The room and the bathroom were very comfortable and very quiet. The breakfast was good.

Really can’t fault this place at all; except would be nice to have cappuccino as an option at breakfast (to be fair, they did had plunger coffee).

A lovely family run bed and breakfast, set in a beautiful location. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating of my family and I (included a dog and a one year old child); we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! The bed was extremely comfortable, room was immaculately clean and large, nicely furnished, and the grounds stunning. Breakfast was generous and delicious.

Goss Bed and Breakfast is a piece of heaven! We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return again. My four year old daughter felt really special in the big roll top bath and had a fantastic time seeing all the ducks.

We had the most lovely time at Goss Hall. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff and Maggie were extremely accommodating particularly with our two children. The breakfast room was charming and the freshly cooked food was delicious. We would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.

We loved staying at Goss hall for three nights. Fantastic house run by a great host, Maggie, and her daughter. Stayed in the Granary annex in a beautiful, large room. Breakfasts were great too! Thoroughly recommended.

Location may be a bit too remote for some. Taxis are readily available mind.

The breakfast choice and quality was excellent. We felt like family we were so well looked after. The grounds were picturesque and neat - the tables by the pond was perfect to chill with a cold beer after a round of golf! The location is great if you are after some secluded quiet, there is a lovely country walk into Sandwich town just over the road - it took us about 50 minutes.

Cooked breakfast would have been great.

Continental breakfast only. Might have been us that missed the finer detail. We were expecting a cooked breakfast given the price of the stay. Beautiful surroundings. Lovely staff.

Never felt welcome or comfortable with the family that runs the B&B, not sure why they run a B&B if they are going to be impolite and sometimes even rude. we couldn’t wait to leave. shame as it’s a nice house, has potential…
