Asked for 2 rooms adjacent to each other weeks in advance but didnt get them. Disabled guest was give a room where there are a lot of steps and was furthest away from the lift .

Evening entertainment for over 80s not for younger people, noisy seagulls & area dirty and nothing opens till 10am

Large number of addicts both inside and outside of the hotel, cant see through window because of bird poo and also paying for a window just for it to face onto a side lane full of addicts, dirty bath and stained bed sheets, switch on headboard in middle, bed solid as a rock, check in staff overrun by people because of check in time starting at 4, bad signs making finding things a trip through a maze

Checking in was atrocious, had to deal with two different staff member as one left halfway through and the next one didn't get any of my information so had to start again and was waiting quite a while. Our rooms came with coffee pod machines however only one room had pods in and when I asked at reception if they had any, a lady working there with purple and blue hair whose name I didn't catch told me there wasn't any behind the desk and when I asked if there was anywhere else I could go to get some, as in anyone else I could ask in the hotel, she told me I could get some from the shop, the way she told me all this seemed a bit rude and unprofessional. There was also an issue with one of the elevators opening and shutting straight away as I was walking in with the door almost shutting as I was halfway through and it closed and went down before my partner even had chance to get in, it genuinely seemed like it could be a health risk with how it was working as I tried to stop the door and it kept on closing.

The sea view was fantastic and the bed was comfy, a big fan of the bath. The hotel decor itself was very nice and the location was fantastic.

Staff can't cope with the amount of people comming, so prepare wait long untill you check in. Room doors was with broken handle, booking was done for double room with two people, but towels only for one. Sink was cloged so was not able to use.

It's not bad for the price I have booked, initially I was happy that there are facility for coffee and tea but when I was about to use it at midnight, there are massive limescales buildup in the kettle, I tried to clean it but still lot left and decided not to use it, didnt bother to ask for new one. Hope you check on this small details as this facilities gives happiness to people.

I like the service and the rate we got when I book the hotel. The staff were nice, especially the Filipina in the reception, forgot to get her name.

A) There was no decafinated coffee in the room. B) There was no bedding on the bed or anywhere else in the room. C) The women in the lava lounge were not very helpful, one of them was rude. Not one of them seemed to be enjoying their jobs. No smiles, no pleasantries. D) My brother came to the hotel and asked for us, he was told that we were not staying in the hotel. E) The bathroom door was an utter let down. It looked like someone had kicked it through. There was a piece of plastic covering it. Why wasn't it just covered with py or changed. I do not take photos of the room I was on holiday we tried to ignore everything that wasn't good.

The gentleman that was working the first night we got there was lovely and a great help. There was a lovely young lady on the reception bar, very chatty, very happy bubbly and very helpful. Last time we came we really enjoyed it. Everyone was polite and helpful. The room was very period and fitted with the hotel age, we loved it.

Unhelpful staff. Arrived at 11.00 am; quite aware check-in was not until 4.00 (rather late?) but curtly told ‘no, you can’t leave one bag each here. Take them with you’ thus spoiling the one day we had in Scarborough to some extent. The very worst customer ‘care’ I’ve met.

We arrived in the hotel on May 6,2024 and the reception gave me the key to our room. However, when I came to that room 438, it’s not yet ready. The room is so dirty and messy.

There was a 'put up' bed in room with no bedding provided, however when we mentioned to reception the lady located bedding and brought us up a brand new still packaged duvet for it, even though was fairly late on in the evening when arrived.

The room was a family room, as taken our small grandchildren, it had fab views of beach and resort! It was a nice big room with a small entrance hall so could leave pram out of the way. The location of this hotel is what always brings us to it , to be honest as it's such a great prime spot for everything. Our grandchildren particularly liked the funicular tram that is right outside!.

We had a lot of issues during our stay, I actually had to write a list so wouldn’t forget them! I won’t detail the issues as the duty manager that was working on our day of check out listened to our issues, apologised, appreciated and dealt with us perfectly, we couldn’t of asked for more customer service. We received a full refund and was all settled. I would stay here again though

Bed very uncomfortable. Late check in (long queues) very early checkout with no room for negotiation. I asked for 30 minutes later to be told no. My room was in the very lower level (3005) and the lift was broken. It took me 30 minutes to find my room as it was not well sign posted at all. As I was on my own for this trip, it was unsettling for it taking half an hour to get to and from my room.

We didn't enjoy the noisy arguing banging doors and slamming ppl staying in the room near us! We noticed that quite a few left their manners and respect at home! Couldn't believe the way grown adults were attempting to use the hotel as their playground the staff deserve a medal for their tolerance levels and smiling through. They were quick to act regarding our noise problem and spoke to the ppl involved and upgraded our room for our last night with no extra charge as an apology for our interrupted sleep and again everything was clean

The location is great and staff were really pleasant and helpful really don't understand other reviews that pull this place down so much! It's a beach front property so nesting birds and dirty windows are to be expected really at a place so big we made a lovely feathered friend that sat on our window ledge the bath worked just fine everything was clean white towels, white bedding clean empty bins, clean kettle clean cups I guess some ppl are just way too picky
