Mould on ceiling in bathroom. Tea cup was stuck to saucer. Was water in kettle, should have been empty as could have been sitting there for days. We had to ask for towels and they didn't look nicely folded, were hard and weren't soft.

    The beds were comfortable

Large double room tastefully decorated with comfortable bed and pillow. WiFi bit patchy occasionally but overall good enough. Staff friendly and breakfast used good quality bacon and sausage.

I accidentally left my phone charger plugged in in my bedroom. A friend who lives a few doors down kindly volunteered to retrieve it for me that same day, but was told nothing was found. He persisted and asked again a few days later, but still nothing traced. Sadly this indicates that one staff member at least might be light-fingered, as it was too soon to have been the next guest. Nevertheless, due to the other positive factors, I'd still stay here again (but be extra careful not to leave any property!).

Convenient suburban location but near to Maidstone town centre. Relaxed atmosphere and generally comfortable looked-after accommodation. Excellent value in today's inflated hotel market.

The reception staff were a little unfriendly. I arrived at 14:30, 30 minutes before booking in time. The man on reception bluntly said: You cannot book in until 15:00. It would be nice if he said your room is not ready yet, I will let you know when it is ready. A

I understand this hotel has ongoing change of ownership, which can't come soon enough. No shower head, shower tray not draining away, radiators not working and inadequate bedding.

The customer service and the food were very good and location excellent.

It was cold during my visit and it seemed the radiator did not work and could not be adjusted.

The staff are friendly, the room is fairly well equipped with an ensuite bath room with a very large bath. The restaurant/bar has very nice food and a good selection of drinks. This is my go to hotel in Maidstone.

Difficult shower to navigate! But once inside - water everywhere - good and hot.

Really good location. Very easy to get into town. Nothing too far away. Lots of pubs and a very good Thai restaurant by the bridge - good food and well priced.

Very poor housekeeping staff. We stayed for 2 nights and housekeeping didn’t turn up even when I personally requested to empty Bin, provide fresh towels. Front office staff later on did the chores. We left our younger one’s iPad charger by mistake so I called twice requesting that I will send a prepaid envelope for them to return it to me but guess what ? housekeeper never gave it to front office as apparently they never found it

Good food, very friendly front office and waiting staff, good location

Nothing within the control of the hotel i.e. not much happening within walking distance of the hotel.

For the price charged it was good value: friendly, helpful staff, clean room with everything working. I ate in the hotel both nights, the service and food was good.
