We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe kettle was complicated to operate - a normal kettle would be easier. The bathroom window in room 6 really needs some frosting film or a blind added as it overlooks the garden. The light / extractor fan timer - time needs to be extended. I found thet the lights went off before the end of my shower. This was ok, but will be an issue when the mornings are darker. The house is reasonably noisy - is there any possibility of sound proofing / deadening ? I had a problem with the front door lock on one night - probably me !
The room was lovely. Bed was especially comfortable. The room was amazingly clean. Breakfast was great -the lamb sausages were very tasty. Built in USB charging sockets were excellent. Free Wi-Fi was a bonus.

Arrived after check in time of 10pm due to issues with travel disruption but was in touch with property and they had no issue stopping a bit later to let me in which was very good of them. Room was comfortable and good value for money. Easy to get to airport.

United KingdomThe room was dirty, and dated. Stains on curtains, pillows, mattress and duvet & carpet. Even a stain on the table cloth when we went for breakfast. Dust everywhere and carpet not hoovered properly. Very cheap mattress, duvet & pillows. One duvet cover was ripped and cushion cover was ripped. TV was not working and the breakfast selection wasn’t as per pictures on site. The base of the toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and room had a smell to it. If we had another option we would not have stayed. One of the guests cooked food was put on the table before he had come down so was cold by the time he had it.

United KingdomShower not working, and they knew because 2 new showers at reception waiting to be fit! Yet staff played dumb when I told them. So had to use a colleagues shower. Paid for a breakfast, yet full English wasn't available due to no pork products. You shouldn't advertise to sell a product you cannot provide. So paid £10.95 for scrambled egg on toast. And the yoghurt were out of date... When we told the staff she replied "oh the owner did that, they'll be ok tho, won't do you any harm" TV bracket was broke, so was being held up by a plank of wood. Travelled nearly 4 hrs, after work. So arrived outside of check in. But did inform them before. Yet greeted like we were highly inconvenient. If u can't be polite..... Do not work in a customer service environment !!! The "cook" sat on stairs said "I am waiting for you" to my colleague . Yet we had been told couldn't have breakfast earlier because she won't like doing them then. What on earth! It was like an episode of faulty towers!!! Terrible.

United KingdomOn entering the man on reception told us our room had a leak so he was going to UPGRADE us to a better room. We entered the better room to find a patio window unlocked with a curtain covering it. The bathroom had no blind at all and no privacy. The TV in the room was near the door high up on the wall, you could not see it clearly from the bed only from a chair which the small TV was so far up the wall gave you neck ache after 10mins. Breakfast was again very poor, 1 cereal or an apple choice, juice, tea, coffee. A lovely lady came out and took our breakfast choices there was eggs, beans or mushrooms with toast !! no bacon, sausage or anything else, very poor!!! also we got locked out as the man on reception didn't bother telling us there was a code in our room for the door!!!
