A long way from my home to visit regularly!

Location of this place is idyllic, right on the coast road, just outside Larne centre itself. Staff were always on hand to serve us, nice relaxing atmosphere and food was superb as well.

Got a free room upgrade which had fabulous sea views. The staff (in particular Sean) couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was good & the location was great for exploring the coast & its half an hour drive to the gobbins cliff walk.

A beautiful property on a fabulous area ,right on the coast facing the sea also a fabulous restaurant too .the owners couldn’t do enough for us and their staff are all so polite chatty and very efficient the rooms were very well decorated and spotlessly clean and.Comfortable ,although Wendy was busy she always found time for a chat .we always wanted to stay there as we. Visit the area a lot this year we managed to get booked and were not disappointed ,Wendy was always available a great hotel for visiting the Antrim coast .

I loved this place, I really love hotels like this, the more old fashioned but in a good way sort of feel! The bar restaurant was really cosy and was busy, the food was proper pub grub and we loved it, the outside area overlooking the bay from just across the road, when no cars were passing it was so peaceful! The staff were all so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you especially the lady who served breakfast and the bonus was the owner was working behind the bar! Our room was a deluxe sea view double and I’d def recommend this as it made our stay! The view was lovely. The gardens are well kept, in fact the whole hotel is well kept, there’s nothing to dislike at all!

Friendly, welcoming and professional team who made my visit to Ballygally memorable. Superb breakfast with wide selection of excellent produce and not a drop of grease on the fry. Despite his world renowned fame in boxing, David the owner has no trophies on display which reflects his lovely modesty.I would highly recommend Halfway House to other travellers for a peaceful stay in a spotlessly clean hotel with beautiful sea views.

So welcoming and friendly, very helpful. We needed an earlier check in as we were going to dalfest and wouldn't be back until late that evening which I was able to get by messaging the property and got a reply very quickly. Sent me through taxi numbers also to get organised for my weekend. Lovely breakfast and just nice area and atmosphere. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

All in all ist was a good stay for one night. The Hotel is quit old and the furnishing is old fashionend, but the bed and the bathroom are modern. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there are Little nice things like a vase or a mirror…

The breakfast was good but would have benefitted from being a little more varied. One of the double rooms was adequate but perhaps a little on the small size.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The evening meals were good and the staff helpful and attentive. It was nice having the seashore just across the road. A pretty spot.
