Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomUnfortunately we ordered the curry for Tea on the Monday evening this seemed to be a warmed up meal as it wasn't very hot, and the naan bread was also over heated so it was dry and crunchy, so for £12. 95 we felt it was a little overpriced but it in no way impacted our overall impression of the hotel, nor would it put us off staying again
The breakfast was lovely, fresh and hot, good varied selection for everyone, the room was lovely and spotless, very spacious, very light and airy, staff were welcoming and polite, even housekeeping in the morning were polite when we declined fresh towels as we had plenty etc.

United StatesI did not feel it was walkable from the train station as advertised, but part of that was due to construction going on. The thermostat was locked at a maximum of 22.5C, which we found that chilly, but once we called down to Guest Services, they raised it for us.
The location was perfect for the Shambles and the City Centre. The Breakfast selection was the best I have ever encountered especially since it was included in the price.

United KingdomMain area ie. reception, bar area, seating area was absolutely freezing. This was due to air conditioning being on constantly. Was also aware other guests were commenting unfavourably on this same matter.
Breakfast was good being buffet style. Drawback was only scrambled eggs on offer - no fried or boiled eggs. Breakfast items were not always replenished very quickly nor were used tables cleared as quickly as would be expected. Possibility may be due to lack of sufficient staff.

United KingdomI understand there were gluten free cereal options, but I couldn't see them on first glance after walking around the island. Perhaps clearer signage on what is/isn't rather than a sign saying 'please ask a member of staff' when there wasn't anyone around to ask!
I had to leave early morning and when I came down at 6:15am the breakfast had still not been served. There was no-one around to ask about gluten free (I am a coeliac) options which made me feel slightly anxious. The person on reception managed to eventually find someone in the kitchen to address my concerns and questions, but it meant I had to rush to eat my breakfast as I had a taxi booked at 7:00am.

United KingdomThe room was very clean but underneath the bed was not clean, nowhere to hang towels. Iron provided but no ironing board. The hotel was advertised on Booking.com as having parking but we had to pay an additional £45 to park a ten minute walk away.
