Charging extra for parking . Whole place is a bit tired and dated but fine for a stopover.

Good price for last minute booking. Convenient to Stansted after long delayed flight. Room OK. Nothing special but totally adequate for the night when rest was needed.

Our room was the very last room in the hotel overlooking the busy main Road and M11

Hotel bar was poor, nothing looked organised. No till working and staff had to add up drinks prices using a calculator on their phones, sometimes there was no service for a lengthy period of time with no one available to serve drinks. 1 of the 2 TVs were broken and they also advertised they showed sports channels but when asked if sports could be shown they don't actually have any sports channels available on the TV and was then told they don't actually pay for any sports to be on the TVs yet advertise online and in the bar that they have this option.

Breakfast service - whilst a lot to choose from this was a buffet style and sausages were hard and cold. Coffee from the machine was also cold but the hot water OK. No USB port in the room but again Reception kindly assisted with charging my phone. Distance to walk to the room was very far if I was to have one grip

The Reception staff went out of there way to help with our questions. Unfortunately our car unexpectedly broke down and we had to leave it in the car park. They assisted with taxi numbers and trip to the airport and even water for the engine. Nothing was too much trouble - so sorry not to have got the name of the young lady from the morning and the gent in the late evening.

As I just commented, it was a lovely, peaceful location. Other guests, unfortunately, weren't asked to get in their rooms silently and paraded right through the night.

I chose the location due to being off the road. Advantage we were on a higher level and only had the court yard outside. The same couldn't be said for the noisy guests rolling in from midnight till 0800hrs Sunday morning

A no frills hotel but great value for money. Staff were lovely, room exceptionally clean. Nice breakfast before setting off home. Would recommend and would be quite happy to return

The charge for the car park is cheeky because unless you have a car it is very difficult to get to and from this hotel.

You are charged to park, even after you'd paid to stay at the hotel. Strange smell in the corridor and rooms. Double bed was two singles with a noticeable gap between.
