Unfortunately it was a 8 shared space and the facilities were let's put it nicely heavily used. I did have to raise issues in the bathroom as there weren't cleaning products for those that made the mess to clean it up. The shower head was the wrong one so it was giving the wrong amount of pressure, which made an already unpleasant time in the shared bathroom a little bit worse. Disrespectful manners of a shared space attendee, late at night causing a little bit of ruckus with their "pleasure" seeking. Thankfully, it was only one night but still worth mentioning. The points above are not to do with the location or the facilities, just more answering the question of what I didn't like while staying there.

Perfect location for what I was looking for, direct into town by a short walk and only one train away from the airport! Lovely facilities with the cinema and zen room, didn't use the cinema room much but it's nice to know it's there to use. Used the zen room more for daily yoga and breathing techniques. Staff were lovely when I raised issues below and were dealt with in a timely manner!

The location was in a bit of a sketchy area, it didn’t feel unsafe but certainly wouldn’t wanna be out at night

Honestly the only fault was the guests in the room. There was a couple of people that had no hostel etiquette whatsoever. One would shout randomly in the middle of the night and another wouldn’t stop talking on the phone all hours through the night. Please be respectful of people you’re sharing a room with. I think the bedrooms could do with a bit of updating. And maybe get lockers that lock so people feel secure leaving their things behind

The reception/lounge area was great. Comfy seats, good selection menu etc. the location was good too - not quite central but not a far walk away to get into the centre either - probably took me 5-10 mins to get to the main area. The beds are super comfy!!

Nothing really . I would have preferred an upper room not the ground that I lodged in aside that nothing of concern . I recommend for others to book as they understand the business of hospitality .

Although the toom has been newly decorated the bathroom was in a bad state. Old, tired shower and obvious signs of damp with paintwork lpeeling off wall around shower. Didn't make it pleasant to use the bathroom. A real shame that they've done up the room and neglected the bathroom. Noisy hotel with lots if doors banging at night. Overall - superficially looks good but some things need improving.

The room was decorated really nicely. However limited hanging facilities, no TV and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. You could buy these downstairs. Location good.

The bathroom is in need of a bit of TLC. The bed was really uncomfortable, very soft and the springs were poking my back.

The receptionist was really very kind, the reception area and lounge is nicely decorated. The room and corridors were clean. The bathroom was clean as well.

The toilet was filthy, feels eerie in the dimly light hallway and you can hear everything from the corridoor in your room.

Windows don’t open, lamp shades were flickering from time to time and room can get really hot at night even if the heating is off.

The room was spacious, simplistic yet minimalist room design, clean and showers are really good.

The tiny garden out back was depressing af and the location is a bit dodgy...

Was a generally good value youth hostel with a nice bar, wellness room, mini cinema, balconey and chilling quarters. The sleeping quarters contained comfty beds and felt secure

Curtains didn't meet in the middle so the huge outside street lamp shone through all night. Windows very old. Pillows not comfy. No tea facilities in the room or TV.

There only seems to a cleaner every 2nd day so the bathrooms get extremely messy considering how many dorm rooms the bathroom services. There are only 2 toilets & 2 showers servicing near the 2brm dorm rooms, 1 shower was broken, never regulated heat, from freezing cold, to boiling hot & 1 of the toilets never flushed, being always clogged.. which means with no cleaners everyday, it wasn't pleasant using the bathrooms etc

Mostly fine for a hostel but is overdue some basic maintenance eg. main lights not working in the room. Shower not attached to the wall. Could do with some really simple helpful things like hooks and shelves in the communal bathroom.
