Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomHotel is a bit "tired" needs some looking after, both inside and externally. Broken toilet cistern in 1st room, moved to another and the shower over the bath was not great.... didn't function properly using the mixer tap..... rooms starting to look a bit old and in need of upgrade. But given the relatively low cost, perhaps understandable.

This is a nice comfortable hotel with a great location for Glasgow west end visits but also easy to reach other locations. The rooms and beds are comfortable and clean. The restaurant (bovine) is very nice and the gin bar handy for a pre-dinner drink.

United KingdomFire alarm went off at 6am on Easter Monday morning we all had to vacate the building, the staff didn't have a clue what to do or where we should go, it was a cold morning and people outside with bed clothes on, hanging about for over 1 hour, no explanation why and not even offered a hot drink or breakfast when we eventually got back in, was very poor customer service, not impressed

Great location in the heart of the West End of Glasgow. Close to shops, bars, restaurants and the subway. Lovely reception area and welcome from staff. Very comfortable beds.

United KingdomBreakfast doesn't run as smoothly as it should for this type if hotel. First morning , no fruit or cold meats (9.30) . Second morning , plenty of fruit which was good but no eggs in bain marie , coffee machine all out , no hot water in the urns and out porridge. They did sort these issues out to be fair BUT these should be monitored to avoid these issues.
