The first night’s sleep was badly disturbed by a banging door that had been ill maintained. It needed the soft close mechanism replacing. The person we complained to was reluctant to admit, after we suggested that other people must have complained about this also and said it should have been sorted, this person then went on to say that we shouldn’t have been put in that room. So clearly other people had complained! Very disappointed at the complete disregard of our nights rest. Premier Inn next time, they have soft close doors even if they don’t offer free breakfast! We were compensated with two drinks vouchers but I’m sure most people would prefer the proper night’s sleep!

The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the Hotel overall posed good value for money.

The breakfast - the hot food was cold, the sausages labeled as cumberland were definitely not cumberland, and the jams were not representative of what Dundee is famous for.

The receptionist guided us to the parking close to the hotel - it was amazing, just close the door on the car park and open the hotel door straight into reception. A brilliant location with views across to the Tay Road Bridge.

The room we were in was very very dark and there was just a brick wall view, it made my 1 year old unsettled as it was so dreary unfortunately. We did ask for a room change but unfortunately this wasn’t an option. The member of staff did provide us with some vouchers as an apology which was appreciated so thank you!

It was perfectly situated and we found our way around easily and it was enjoyable

I opened the windows as it was very mild Road noise due to location. Easily resolved if window kept closed. Would not prevent me re visiting just something I would consider and the view over Tay helped on balance .

Room was very comfortable clean and access to all you would need for a short trip. Staff were lovely in particular duty male who was on reception for best part of the time of stay absolutely nothing a bother polite very welcoming. Breakfast also very good with plenty choice setting us up for the day.

No onsite parking, have to park in a car park attached and pay per night. The bed was pretty small so no the best nights sleep. There was also no record of my payment through booking.com and had to stop reception charging me at check in and check out

Unfortunately no river view this time and tv wouldn't switch off via remote so had to use mains ( room 214 if staff are reading). But this is nit picking cos we will def be back:)

Nothing, it’s a budget hotel so one needs to make some allowances but really it was fine.

Breakfast was fine and dining area had a good view out to the river and the bridge. Hotel had noon site parking but was directly connected to level 3 of the municipal multi story car park next door so getting in and out was simple. Lifts to all floors. Room was clean and a reasonable size.

Lift was broken to the 2nd floor, the bed was like a rock. Breakfast was warm at best not hot. Steven looked like he had slept in his uniform and was wearing his breakfast on his shirt.

Hotel is a 5 minute walk to the main street and 2 mins walk to the riverside. Breakfast buffet is small, but ample and sufficient.
