Very hot rooms. Air con did not work. Highlighted this upon leaving and we’re informed we should call reception to help change the temp. Should ideally have been informed of this prior to accessing the room.

Easy access. Friendly, helpful receptionist called Nikki.

Apparently new shower trays are on order for some bathrooms, as they look a bit dirty under the bright lights. Everything otherwise looked spotless.

Staff went out of their way to be helpful - I have food allergies and the desk and kitchen staff volunteered to find out about the menu and inform me what I could eat and cater for me. And when I found I’d left my charger at home, they lent me one from lost property, which was a sanity saver. Room was comfortable and clean, had everything we needed (including Dove cosmetics in the bathroom).

Paying for parking, especially as you had to pay every time you left the car park. Car park too small and very difficult to find a space. Got the last one and not easy to get out of. Water pressure poor on shower Bed was VERY hard

1. My room heating turned off at main control in reception … very cold in morning. 2. Handbasin drain was slow - blocked ? 3. Breakfast was fine but layout of croissants, muffins etc beside groups of diners who were laughing, coughing, standing chatting alongside etc .. VERY UNHYGIENIC !!!!

All the hotel floors, including the bedrooms, squeaked when walked on. Really irritating at night as people walked past the room. Strange for a recently built hotel.

Very nice hotel, modern and spacious. The bedrooms were very comfortable, clean and large as was the bathroom. The staff were nice, helpful and friendly. Good location and had parking which we used.

Really low water pressure makes showering take twice as long as it should. All water saving shower heads and taps. The sink drain doesn't drain. I'm sure the cleaners must notice this if/when they clean the sink, so why it doesn't get fixed I've no idea. Maybe I was just unlucky. The floors are really thin. I'm a light sleeper and it wasn't good. I'll request a room on the top floor next time.

It's new, clean and modern. Breakfast is good. The shower is huge. Bed very comfortable. Room a good size with a small desk. Within walking distance of Grimsby Town railway station. Never a problem getting a taxi. Very polite and helpful staff.

Housekeeping calling customers lazy for having late check out and saying this openly as customers were walking by them in the corridor. Housekeeping also swearing about one of their colleagues. Only one set of towels left in room for two people staying. Car park machine confusing- does not explain how long you get for free (20 minutes) and screen display says last time of stay making you think you need to pay.

If tomatoes had been included in the breakfast, that would have been good!

The only problem with the breakfast was that there were no plum tomatoes which are my favourite! Other than that, the breakfast was good!

Nothing, everything was spot-on!

Everything was well catered for, the room was very clean and spacious throughout, the breakfasts were excellent, and the bar staff even put Match of the Day on TV on the final night of our stay, very impressed!

The staff is so friendly, absolutely spot on. Couldn't do enough for you.
