I was surprised there was no fridge in the room for the price - I had bought a salad to eat the following day in work but couldn't keep it cool so had to throw it away. There was no menu for food in the room and couldn't see whether you could get it on the TV. I was surprised nobody came to make up the room and replenish tea and coffee between the 1st and 2nd nights of the stay so had to ask for extras at reception (which were given). The quality of food in the bar and the restaurant was not great - (I had pizza on first night and a beef burger on second) - the flavours were very bland and seemed to be frozen items cooked not fresh. For the cost charged I thought it was a bit disappointing.

The use of the swimming pool and health club was a great addition. The staff at breakfast and at the bar were very friendly and helpful.

Cooked food at breakfast overdone. Confused over bar and restaurant menus. Wanted to eat from bar menu sitting in the restaurant. Television too loud in bar area.

I had not had the opportunity to use the swimming pool. Some of the areas in the hotel are in a need for a refurbishment.

There was a lack of vegetarian options for the cooked breakfast. I had eggs and mushrooms. Possibly they were taken before I got to the breakfast area.

The staff were lovely. The gluten free food was completely separated from other food which reduced the risk of cross contamination.

Room could do with bit of updating more attention fixtures and fittings.certain things need looking at and changing . but value for money .moved from 1 room because of a noise but was quickly sorted out, was another issue regarding a cleaning issue that was resolved quickly .

Staff were attentive and very friendly .had an amazing breakfast. Breakfast was just as good ,if not better as some of the high end hotels stayed in on my travels.few issues ,but definitly would stay again if I come to Liverpool.

Didn't have breakfast and I think our room was given away as we were at the races an when we came back to book in they had to allocate another room an being a single bed down to it an was a disabled room

Price of breakfast. Room was basic & small not much room to move. Smell of cannabis from nearby rooms as you walked down corridor.

Lovely comfy bed , leisure facilities were fantastic & used twice on a one night stay.

I was really happy in general however the bottom of the bathroom door was completely worn as was part of the skirting board. So just a bit of updating of the decor needed.

It felt warm and welcoming and was in a great location close to transport links but in pleasant surroundings. The shower was red hot and powerful.
