The weddings had to move rooms I should have been put in a different room to begin with as I was staying for quite a few nights. They also state that they don’t allow dogs however when I asked they have allocated dog rooms I specifically went there because I don’t want to be in a hotel with dogs. They have since updated the website.

There needs to be another bar away from the restaurant for when you just want a drink. If there is a wedding on, as there was for our stay, then there is no where to sit and relax other then the restaurant or your room.

Very Friendly and helpful staff. The room was lovely and clean. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing, would definitely go back again.

The place is like a maze, very large areas with signs that could do with updating. I actually got lost on my way to breakfast. Ordered room service which arrived promptly however, the burger and onion rings were way over-cooked and actually burnt so much I couldn't eat them.

nice, clean, large bedroom. Lovely and quiet looking out onto open fields which was nice. Excellent facilities including gym, spa and pool which were great. Excellent breakfast options, all cooked well and a large range of different items.

Reception told us pool etc opened at 0730 on the Sunday - incorrect info it was 8 am - had to gang around waiting .

We booked a king room and had expected the room to be large enough to comfortably accommodate a kingsize bed. However, we were notified on the day before arrival that our room was a stable room which we discovered was not in the hotel building but in a stable block. We were disappointed as the room was small and cramped, made us feel claustrophobic. The wardrobe almost touched the end of the bed and with the luggage stand erected between the two, it was a squeeze to move around. The window frames are rotten so we couldn’t leave the window open due to there being no pins to keep the latch in place. It felt poorly refurbished with a lack of attention to detail. We moved to another room for the next couple of nights and were much happier.

Lovely surroundings. Staff was polite and accomadating. At breakfast time the chef went out of his way to cook me an omelate the 3 days of my stay. Very enjoyable

Secluded rural area, beautiful settings, peaceful location, facilities for private functions are very well arranged, widespread breakfast options, room prices are very reasonable, overall great hotel, highly recommend it.

Would have liked more healthy choices in the restaurant but the food was excellent nonetheless.

Excellent location for nearby Bletchley Park, friendly and helpful staff, great facilities, good selection for breakfast. The staff were attentive without being overly so, they were efficient at clearing tables.

The first room- stable room was incredibly hot. I’m normally cold. Completely unbearable so we’re very glad to be moved after 1 night to an executive room. The hotel was a total maze.

The main house and hotel in general is geared towards wedding parties. It is a pity that the main house is otherwise closed or empty with no hospitality on offer

The gardens are beautful and well kept, and the main house gives a dramatic setting. The breakfast is good and the staff were helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean.

Staff cleaning table next to us at breakfast with lots of cleaning spray covering our food in a fine mist. Great that tables are cleaned well, but there was no need to clean that one whilst we were eating, as there were many empty clean tables available. Hotel was lovely, but not a county house experience as most rooms were in an extension which, although nice, could have been in any decent business hotel.

Breakfast was excellent, constantly refreshed, friendly staff. Gym was good and pool ok. Room clean and newly decorated, bathroom, we should have asked for a walk in shower as shower over bath was difficult to use.

The only negative was restaurant experience, we booked the table but had to wait 40 min to be seated. Staff however was friendly and helpful, food was amazing.

Have stayed in Horwood House many time before. It did not disappoint. Room was spacious, clean, staff was friendly. Food as always was great. Will be booking again.
