The pool area is quite small so felt busy. In the room the wiring of the switches was all wrong so the switches were intermittent and turned on different lights at different times. I also would’ve liked to have dressing gowns and slippers provided in our room.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is well decorated and has a very relaxed feel. All facilities were excellent and the restaurants were great with high quality food and drinks!

Very comfortable room with good facilities, very quiet even when many guests staying. Superb swimming pool - be aware it has a family splash time! Places,to sit and enjoy surroundings and walk in gardens and,countryside. Staff helpful good food choice and options tables spaced and interesting deco. There is a manor house attached to new facilities staff did not mention follow map to find these fabulous rooms.

I chose a deluxe King but I think that size could have been a classic standard room. It didn't feel particularly deluxe.

The food in the restaurant was outstanding. We also loved the spa as it provided a luxurious experience. I found it clean and comfy.

The spa was a little too busy at times, the spa lacked a jacuzzi however it was still an enjoyable spa experience!

Drinks service for those eating in the restaurant was very slow in the evening. No other issues at all.

We had king rooms that were spacious, modern and comfortable. Very well designed, modern bathroom, great shower. We really enjoyed the spa facilities which were newly refurbished. Everything was clean. Nothing was tired or outdated. Really nice breakfast.

Our room lacked character in relation to how impressive the building was. It a simple hotel room. The main / older part of the hotel was empty. It would have been nice to have been given a choice as to where to stay in eg the modern side or historic side. The spa staff were not welcoming.

Location was wonderful. The entrance very grand and gardens lovely. The building was interesting.

Could do with an indoor seating area for reading or having a drink in the evening which isn't part of the restaurant (which is more formal).

The room had communication with another one through a door, maybe that's we could hear other guests overnight. Maybe breakfast could have more types of bread, olive oil and more pastry.

The venue and facilities. The grand house manor and charming secret garden. Breakfast was ok, a fair variety of fruits and traditional English breakfast.

Secret garden could do with lighting and a bench .The rooms sometimes quite far from reception so might be issue if you have mobility issues.

Advertising does not tell you you will not be in the character part of the hotel, very large modern hotel. Noisey extractor noise from kitchens. Had to move room twice. Buffet breakfast been sitting to long ,not value for money.

Had to wait for beans and scrambled eggs. Beans was watery and you should have hot porridge made up. Classic double room, could be bigger.

Key didn’t work initially, so had to walk all the way back to reception with my suitcase and wait in line at reception to get it reprogrammed. Room was very hot (thermostat on radiator didn’t work)

Lovely cosy room, outstanding pool / spa facilities, lovely building and beautiful decor internally. Lot of free parking and nice restaurant.
