The property itself is in extreme poor condition and out-dated. A massive decoration is definitely required.

It’s in desperate need of maintenance and a deep clean in the communal areas. One lift has stopped going beyond floor 2, the corridors are grimy and the restaurant has been closed for years. In the bathroom the loo seat fell off and then the seat fell off; the loo roll holder had fallen off and the tiles by the end of the bath were no longer attached. The bath had lost some enamel where the shower head has repeatedly fallen onto it and chipped it. The bed was smart, clean and beautifully made and the desk area was clean and dust-free but the walls need painting. It feels like a hotel that was well-appointed decades ago and then nothing has been done to it since. I needed a cheap place to stay and it was just that.

The location is excellent and the bed was comfortable. There is some parking beneath the hotel.

Even though our Room was clean when we arrived, the sanitary was not clean. It was a little fresh at night, but we could turn on the Heating, and we appreciated it. Fahimeh Amiri-Vidal

I didn't use the hotel's Wi-Fi, so I have no idea how it works, but my husband was satisfied.

Smell in hall and room was disgusting, floor filthy, no temperature control and radiator boiling, valance cover filthy. Staff didn’t speak to us once even when we were leaving.

The decor could do with a revamp. Window locks broken and therefore not closing the world out, sirens etc The lack of food facilities but I did know that on booking but thought supermarket would be in easy reach?

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was ok, although the shower wasn’t a trickle!! Sky tv gave easy viewing. Reception beautifully clean and comfy, reception staff extremely helpful and allowed my case to be put away even though i hadn’t checked in for another few hours.

Very little room space, mould round the windows, windows were sealed properly, only 1 dual plug socket in the room, walls are really thin

NO HOT WATER either morning or when we arrived. ( and we are not the only ones) Seems they keep the boiler turned off to save money until someone shouts at them and they turn it on and after 45 minutes you get lukewarm warm water

The main door didn't close, you had to really slam it shut. The window was left open all night because had no handle to shut. Toilet flusher was broken, toilet seat was broken

Room had one switch for all lights: bathroom, bedside and room. On or off - the whole lot.

The hotel is on a main road and the windows did not shut properly so it was very busy all night, bring ear plugs! There were signs of damp and mould in the bathroon and the wardrobe.

This is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. It was close to the venue we were visiting and was perfectly reasonable accomation to put your head down for the night

Electrical socket held on with tape,only half lights in room working, toilet seat loose so changed room and that had a loose toilet seat, broken shower head holder and radiator wasn't working and we needed staff to get us into room as door temperamental!!!! Whole place would benefit from a good maintenance team.

That bloody tap 🙄

The tap on the bathroom was making a funny noise so we had to twist it to stop the pipes from making the noise al night room 124 , hopefully they get that fixed , but other than that hot water fine , bed comfortable and TV was good enough 👍🏼
