1. impossible to find the hotel, the guy who works there came and picked me up on a bicycle and was riding 30m in front of me 2. even though i asked for a private bathroom and was willing to pay more they didnt give 3. think there is a brother and a mother and they were screaming at eachother from start to finish 4. toilet was broken

The pictures on booking.com do not resemble what the place is actually like. The rooms where atrocious no light in the bathroom bed sheets and towel (1 between 4) was dirty, very unprofessional would not recommend ever

the location was incorrect, they contacted me by iMessage from a different phone number than the one was provided. the place was not safe at all and it the location was on an alley which was very scary and the person was talking to us from his personal phone number from a room which was cross the street. i asked for a full refund and i didnt stay there.

It is NOT Cumberland Place. The staff on the phone are rude. The bathroom was shared and the property in poor condition. You'd be well advised to look elsewhere. Not only is the address misleading so are the pictures on their description.

The room was a mess, it was dirty, smelly and unclean. I was requested to sign a ‘form’ that the man simply hand wrote in front of me, very unprofessional. The blinds did not open or shut properly, nor did the window that looked out onto a lane where people sat and smoked - meaning that cigarette smell wafted into the room. The bed was not comfortable at all and smelled as though it had not been washed. The room was not in a situation I expected, rather it was in a dark flat. The shared bathroom was disgusting, so bad that I didn’t use it. It was completely unlike what the photos make it out to look like. Do not waste your money as I did and book here as you will be disappointed, and (as I ended up doing) will need to sort alternative accomodation immediately after arriving in London.

The address in the booking confirmation was different to where we actually stayed. Check in took 2.5 hours. No towels were provided at check in. Booking.com did absolutely nothing to help us with our complaints.

The place a dive, req some money spending, dirty a shower hanging off the wall, random cups and glasses, odd bits of cutlery and just a really drab room. Nothing like the pictures, oh and a microwave that makes a lot of noise but wouldn’t heat my baby’s milk if you left it on a week. I’d not normally write a review unless I thought somewhere was really good or sadly if something was blooming awful and this certainly was the later… to be avoided, unless serious improvements are made.

Impossible to find by myself. They have a single person to handle everything, and he seems pretty overwhelmed. It was hard to contact him, he had to hang up on me several times and nothing looked well from the very behinning. The room is not clean, broken curtains, not sound proof at all, and the whole building is not well taken care of. People leave the main door open, which makes it quite unsafe.

It's pretty much a scam. You expect to be hosted in a decent room and end up in hell. I would not recommend that to anybody, even if you're "on-budget". The host made me sign "a paper" that he wrote while being drunk or on drugs. Really difficult to communicate with the host over the phone. On-site, it's even worst. When I arrived, the host was smashing a t-shirt on a dusty fan, and was loudly clearing his throat every 3 seconds. There is no view. Please note that the bathroom is shared, and is really not clean. Don't look for toilet paper on the loo; there is none. Everything is dirty in this hotel. Ranging from the bathroom (that has probably never been cleaned) to the toilet. Special mention to the room in itself that has the dustiest sofa you'll ever find in your life. Extremely expensive for what it is. From far the worst hotel I've been sleeping in. The pictures are old (at least 10 years) and are not representative of what the room actually looks like.

I liked the fact that I just had to sleep for two nights. More than that would have been the mental breakdown. Sleeping in this room makes you feel dirty, since the whole hotel is dirty. You will have to share the bedroom and the toilet with other people, and the hotel lacks the most fundamental requirements to be considered as clean.

The apartment was filthy, beds dirty ripped duvets. No water when we arrived for a shower someone had to come and repair at 10pm. The toiletries was a bottle of wash and go. Nothing like advertised.
