How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Window hasnot any view of outside. It was looking to another rooms of the hotel . So room was dark. I didnot expect to have that kind of room with that money

Some shelves in the bathroom and coat hooks in the main room. The hot drinks machines were not working though for the entirety of our stay.
Location excellent, breakfast really good. Staff courteous and helpful.

The breakfast was good but even after rotating each item I would have liked it a bit warmer. Maybe even have a microwave that customers can use. Tasted great 😋

Well, my flight got rescheduled and in a hurry, I left my spare phone there which I didn't notice. However, after contacting the hotel, they informed me that they have found my phone at the hotel and then they sent it to me via post. I think it shows great integrity. I would highly recommend this hotel based on their staff cooperation.

Shower didn't have good water pressure due to a hole in the pipe connected to showerhead.
Location was really good as I was attending a concert nearby so it wasn't far away. Room was good and staff were friendly..

I was in general very pleased with my stay and nothing really worth mentioning If anything at all.
Very central to everything you require, Lovely friendly helpful staff especially the lad with the pink hair! Room was fine , clean, comfortable, could only improve with maybe a little fridge in the room but that is my personal opinion/requirement If possible of mine! My room did have a window a full length window but overlooked a central kind of courtyard so no real view to speak of but that's to be expected as every room cant have wonderful city views etc. Didn't get my room cleaned while staying, as I was only there for two nights but did get a slip pushed under my room door, giving me a free drink in the hotel Restaurant/Bar for not getting my room cleaned. This was for saving the planet or so the slip stated which I think was a great touch and available to all guests! The hotel had a wonderful smell and in fact when checking out I asked the Receptionist what it was and she said is was the dispensers on the wall that released the fragrance but it was really lovely! Had a lovely Pizza and Chips with a pint on Saturday afternoon in the hotel restaurant/Bar for lunch which was great. W as informed they serve up to four in the morning which was great to know. I thought the times for breakfast were fantastic as breakfast was served between 8am and 11 am Monday until Friday But was 6.30am until 11.am on Sunday, not sure about Saturday as I didn't go down for breakfast on Saturday. Breakfast was fine standard generic cooked self serve breakfast and all the other usually stuff. In my opinion it was fine and did the job but am led to believe this would have cost nearly £12.00 If hadn't been included in the overall price of the room and am still undecided If it was good value for money but in general did what it said on the tin for me. I paid £277 for two nights Friday and Saturday this did include VAT so I think the actual price was around £235.
