Just a B is wonderfully located to explore Winchester, very easy to get to the train station and centre of town. The room was very comfortable, nicely stocked and setup as an ideal base to come back to. Highly recommended for anyone that needs a hub to visit Winchester from.

Shower was a bit small but my partner is huge so it's always a struggle, it didn't spoil anything.

We greatly appreciated the proximity to the center and parking permit. The binder with all the restaurants suggestions (and relatable notes) were a huge help to navigate the city and make our stay smooth and simple.

The accommodation was in the basement and there were steps down from the road which we either missed in the description or were not aware of. It wasn’t a problem although my wife has some mobility issues and we do bring a wheelchair with us. Some noise from the water system but didn’t really affect us.

Property was ideally located for city centre. Car parking was available in a nearby street. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay.

In our experience we had a very comfortable stay. We needed parking and Bill left clear instructions. The room suited our needs and the location was good. We found the room both clean and comfortable with good tea and coffee making facilities. There are steps down to the room door and since we have no mobility problems we found them easy to manage.

Great accommodation in an excellent location in Winchester. All areas of the city were easily walkable and parking for us was easy with use of the parking permit. The room was well-appointed, warm and welcoming and the communication with Bill after booking was very good.

Had an issue with the shower as it started lovely and warm but gradually turned cold. You need to keep turning up the temperature but it caught us out the first time it was used.

Lovely room, roomy & comfortable bed. Also 5 mins walk into the centre so very convenient. Although it's on a busy road it was very quiet. Lovely restaurants near by and a great pub called The Mucky Duck with a friendly vibe and staff.

This isn't a 'didn't like'....just something to be aware of....As the property is in a basement, the ceiling height is lower than usual. My husband is 6' 2" ; head clearance in the living room was okay, but he did have to squat slightly in the shower cubicle! Not an issue for us but might be if you were a really tall person.

The property was clean and well appointed and communication with the owner was always prompt. The access instructions were clear. The property was in an excellent location for visiting Winchester; very central; less than 10 mins to the cathedral and all the town centre facilities. It was also located in a quiet area. The fridge in the room was very welcome, especially as the host had supplied a lovely cool bottle of water and some fresh milk, plus a 'welcome' cereal bar.

Lovely self contained room and bathroom, very well put together. Nice and clean, had a fridge, fluffy fresh towels, shampoo and body wash, tea/coffee facilities. Tucked away but a great location.
