When lifting the toilet seat there was poo in the toilet. Could not have been cleaned from a previous guest.

No hot water when we arrived. Room was not made up during our stay so no clean mugs and I had to request additional milk etc. Rubbish bins not emptied.

Bed was too firm uncomfortable mattress plus pillows were too hard . Cleanliness need addressing sticky stains on carpet, carpet not vacuum dusty cabinet tops,cups damaged . Breakfast cold .lipstick on drinking glass . No information sheets about breakfast times in room ( Nothing had to ask ) .

Hotel staff, rooms and breakfast were all great, the only problem I had was with Booking,com who sent me a totally blank receipt on booking and would not answer my query to their Customer Services dept as to why they send a totally blank receipt. I will avoid Booking .com in future!

There was nothing I did not like about this hotel.

My room on the ground floor was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very welcoming. Now I know where the hotel is located I will use it again. Walking into town wasceasier than I thought and safe as there were plenty of pedestrian crossings. On my return I took a taxi which was only £8. Breakfast was self service with plenty of food. I rate this hotel as being Good value for money!

The breakfast was the low point. There wasn't enough choice. Also arriving for breakfast after 8.30 a.m. there was some food which had run out, no croissants and very little fruit.

See above! Also no Internet at all whilst there. When I questioned the Non-Receptionist, she said it was beamed from HQ and I only came on an hour ago and I don't know how to deal with this problem. Hopeless. Otherwise cheap and cheerful.

Stayed here a few times in last 6 months. Being refurbished presently. Large bar and restaurant area but pricey drinks. London prices in Kings Lynn! Good location for main road routes. Strange to have someone always at Reception but you have to use a machine to self-check-in. Bizarrely, they have to show you how to do it, too! In this process you have to present a credit card to take a £1 charge for incidental breakages??? Then the machine produce your room card. Then you have to register your car in another machine to avoid a ticket but the NR (Non- Receptionist) did not explain that this was necessary. I even had to ask how long this was valid: 24hrs. A receptionist could complete these tasks in moments!?!? What are they paid for?

Room decor very dark Bath not used as it was far too small - you would be better to take the bath out and have a longer shower area. Doors in the corridor very noisy when shut - perhaps you could adjust the closing mechanisms?

We had need to bring our dinner back to the hotel. We found a table away from the restaurant for all of us to eat the food. As we were eating, the staff came over to us and told us we could only eat outside food in our individual rooms. I was amazed. I find this to be a really poor hotel policy at this hotel.

The property was clean and comfortable. Access to essential things was nearby.

Having read previous reviews regarding poor quality of meals we were very pleased with quality of breakfast and main meals. Some people complain for the sake of it . There was no room service over the three nights I was there, so consumables were not replaced. I chose it because it had an on-site restaurant, so I wouldn't need to drive into King's Lynn in the evening, but at short notice, they closed the restaurant, which was inconvenient. The mega gyratory roundabout you had to negotiate to get onto the industrial estate where the hotel was.

The room had a bath. Good sized television. Parking. On-site restaurant.
