The property was beautiful and very close to the seafront and the centre of town. Michael and Alli were brilliant hosts and extremely kind and welcoming throughout our stay. And the breakfasts were absolutely delicious - the eggs were cooked perfectly every morning!

Fabulous B & B with ‘perfect’ hosts Allison and Michael. Great location. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful bedroom with super comfortable bed. Equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Breakfast is amazing. Parking on site. Wished that we could have stayed longer.

Whats not to like !!

The breakfast was superb with lots of options, full English consistently good with great presentation and attention to detail provided by our hosts / owners Alison & Michael, poached eggs with avocado made to perfection as was the omelette. The coffee was plentiful & Hot chocolate a specialty.

Alli and Michael gave us a very warm welcome and were attentive and kind hosts. They checked that we had everything we needed and made us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Kingston House has a lovely atmosphere and we would definitely recommend it.

I think to suggest there was anything we didn't like would be very harsh and picky! The stay was perfect and far exceeded our expectations. Lovely presented guest house, can't wait to visit again.

Alli and Michael were very welcoming. The room was perfect, lots of detail and we were short of nothing. The fridge stocked with refreshments was a welcome treat and more than fairly priced. The air conditioning was a godsend as it was very warm during our stay. Would highly recommend staying at Kingston House. Thank you for everything, New York Amy!

My only gripe was that the TV systems Netflix was linked to the room making it hard to be able to easily find where I was on my own Netflix in a program. Personally I would prefer a system that can cast directly from mobile to the TV.

The hosts were lovely. The room was very clean and well kept. Air con worked a treat. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Honestly loved the place and would definitely recommend.

Going home I'd wish we could have stayed for another week

Can honestly say this was the best accommodation we have stayed in. Location cleanliness food owners price and OMG the breakfast was 5 Star. I've ran out of superlatives on how amazing our stay was. We definitely arrived as strangers and left as friends. It was my birthday the week we stayed and the owners Michael and Alison made me feel so special. We are definitely coming back

Excellent location as not too far from all the attractions. The B&B has excellent touches from the lovely complementary toiletries and chocolates on arrival to the bar and items you can purchase on a honesty basis. The hosts (Michael and Allison) were warm and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back!

Alli and Michael were extraordinarily good hosts. Friendly and welcoming, with a plethora of ideas and suggestions to maximise our trip to Torquay. Nothing was too much trouble. The property is quite rightly 5* rated tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean with an expansively comfortable bed, en-suite, air con and hand made truffles on the pillow. A superb team, Alli and Mike shone during breakfast service with a naturally gregarious style and sense of fun they ensured all the guests were catered for and looked after. The breakfast choices were extensive, tasty and beautifully cooked. An excellent boutique hotel which we look forward to visiting again. Thank you both for welcoming us and providing such a wonderful stay for us both.

There was nothing we did nt like about our stay at Kingston House

Michael & Alli were the perfect hosts for our stay in Torquay. So welcoming with nothing too much trouble for them. The house decor was so tastefully done & spotlessly clean. We stayed 3 nights at the lovely Kingston House and what a treat! Alli & Michael are the most friendly hosts and I can see why it has 5* ratings. Spotlessly clean, light and airy. Our room was lovely and had everything you could want, hairdryer, toiletries and a little chocolate treat left on the bed to name a few. Such a lovely comfy bed, which we needed after our long coastal walks! Great location with onsite parking, meaning we didn’t use our car at all until we left. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious (thank you Michael) and kept us going for the day. Special mention to Alli’s breakfast sundae, which I loved! You are a fab team! I would highly recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you Alli & Michael xx

The weather. Very hilly in Torquay, found it quite tiring.

Nothing! We’re used to staying in Torquay centre, but the walk into town is flat & was approx. 30mins for us.

The hosts were welcoming, helpful & friendly. Our room & the public areas we used were tastefully decorated & spotlessly clean. A wonderfully comfortable bed & a peaceful nights sleep. Served a delicious breakfast, couldn’t have been better.
