Hotel is decaying elegance but needs a little bit of dusting here and there but having said that I would stay there again.

Location is amazing. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Vast .. with pockets of local history adorning the halls. A stones throw from Studland Beach and other walking routes. Perfect for 4 legged friends. The hotel also has lots to do, bar with games, tennis, even kayaking hiring facilities and a great restaurant with a ‘dog friendly’ eating area. I didn’t use the pool or spa facilities unfortunately, as I was visiting for a beach walking visit. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, as my booking was showing as a Double room, but I had in-fact booked a Twin room. This was quickly resolved.

The noise from rooms around us was sometimes quite loud. We were in a flat roof extension at the fare end of the hotel.

Location was perfect. The food was very good. The staff were helpful and friendly. Facilities were very good but certain areas of the hotel were dated.

The hotel is starting to feel neglected, nothing major just little things, like light bulbs need Changing, weeds on balconies, bathroom fittings require attention.

The location of the hotel is excellent, food was great and the staff are always friendly.

Food options on a Sunday night for dinner was limited. The roast was delicious but the portions were tiny. Also for the price (approximately £20 for a roast) I would expect not to have to buy additional vegetables.

Location fantastic near the beach and the hotel has lovely front gardens with lots of benches to sit and relax. Inside there are lots of sofas and chairs around for guests to relax in

Old fashioned charm in a great location. It has a beautiful outdoor pool that was immaculately kept and 26 degrees (in April!). We were delighted to be able to swim.

The hotel is very very dated. Some will enjoy it's charm, others will see the huge investment required to bring it up to date. Our family was split on the quality of the hotel. It certainly helped to have the sun shining!!

We have been holidaying at Knoll house for many years and accept the place is tired, out of date, grubby and dusty in places But it is an outstanding location and they accept dogs which is truly a bonus. Therefor we close our eyes to a lot and accept it is as it is and enjoy our holiday and evening meal which is usually served and cooked well.

While it’s still unmodernized there’s nothing to dislike but I’d be reluctant to come if it lost its traditional character

I just think certain things about the building need updating. Eg, the bathrooms and the exterior of the buildings, the exterior from the car park entrance is a bit shabby. . Otherwise I love the place and I hope it doesn’t change that much.

I live the fact dogs are very welcome. The bed sheets are really good, fresh and clean. The location is perfect.
