On our first morning reception staff pointed us in direction of breakfast room and said just go in and find a tabl, We were quickly moved out of the main breakfast room by a waitress to the conservatory area at the back which was lovely and bright but made us feel uncomfortable as we were not staying in the castle we were in room 17, feel it would be more appropriate to allow guest to sit in either room.

The breakfast was lovely, a menu choice of full English, porridge, yoghurts, toast, eggs etc tea and coffee and fruit juices. Service was amazingly fast and attentive. Castle had history all around and walks within the grounds, Car parking was easy and accessible near to our room. Room was lovely with a teddy knight for that special touch. Bathroom was large and great shower. Adam was an asset to the hotel, took time to talk to us and made us feel very welcome.

As a tourist travelling for the past 7 weeks washing facilities would have been extremely useful Such a shame it was very wet for our stay but obviously not blaming the hotel

Towels were scratchy and pillows hard I expected soft thick luxurious towels and better quality pillows as everything else was amazing.

We should have booked to stay longer!

The location was incredible, the rooms are better than photos could ever do justice, and the food is out of this world - definitely book for dinner (and enjoy the drawing room beforehand). We would love to come back, very special stay!

Toilet rocked a little, sink tap was loose, and bath tap and shower head were not fully cleaned. Sorry for nitpicking, we did have a lovely stay.

it is pretty perfect as long as you don't get a room in the small annex.

When we saw our room it was very disappointing with a small double bed and the TV didn't work. However, when the TV couldn't be mended, we were moved to a very nice suite and it was very comfortable with a big bed and a bath.

Our stay was too short!

A truly impressive castle and beautiful grounds -perfect to give our furry family member a little stroll. We stayed in one of lodge rooms a short walk from the main castle. Staff were really friendly, polite and helpful. We treated ourselves to the fine dining option and were not disappointed - fantastic meal and well presented. There was also an option to eat in the drawing room, where we would have been welcome to bring our dog. We also opted for breakfast in the dining room, where we both opted for the Northumbrian breakfast - delicious and set us up for the day. Plenty of other choices available too. One of the best stays we have had anywhere abd certainly hope to return!

Langley Castle was the best overnight stay we experienced in our trip to UK. The history of the castle was explained in a tour by Castle staff, and the room was superb, even including a beautiful alcove, and the price included a wonderful English breakfast. What a stay for the price. Would love to go again!
