There was some noticeable pipework noise from the adjoining room. Sound seemed to travel quite easily.

The hotel room was a little tired and dated, particularly the bathroom. However, absolutely no issues with the functionality or cleanliness. Very impressed with the breakfast. Hot food was freshly cooked, of high quality and with a good range of items.

No fridge or bottled water in the room, one of the drawers in the chest was broken (I reported this), the towel rail didn't come on. In the gym, 4 of the 6 treadmills were put of order, 1 of the women's showers was out of use and there was a plastic plant where the wet costume spinner used to be (according to the sign above the plant). There was a Christmas tree in reception! It's mid October! Nothing in the area to see.

The food was good, if a little expensive. The pool was nice. There were toiletries in the bathroom, a nice bath, bed was comfy with tea and coffee making stuff.

the food wasn't great - we had to send ours back because it was cold and not really as described or cooked that well. The younger bar and restaruant staff were a bit dopey - but very nice.

The breakfast was chaotic & cold . We had to wait for milk , bread & the hot selection was cold & not replaced quickly enough. They were very short staffed but as the breakfast was £15 pp you would expect a 100% better . Inedible .

Booked. Double room got a twin, Booked dinner in the restaurant but asked to move booking till earlier time. Told in the bar, which was no problem but waited an hour for food and on walking through after the restaurant was empty!! Fire alarm went off at midnight. Loads of noise I. The corridor for hours after! Just not the best experience!!

Number of staff in the Hathaway Bar at lunchtime left the one member of staff unable to manager the bar, deliver food to the table and clear vacated tables of glasses and litter! This was our first impression before checking in

The restaurant facilities are very outdated and overpriced. The breakfast restaurant is a bit bleak.

The pool is heated and perfect for our toddler. Our room was really spacious and comfortable. Lovely gardens and excellent location for visiting the local attractions we wanted.
