Clean well-appointed room. Friendly staff. Good restaurant with efficient service. Free car parking. Quiet location but with good bus access to Edinburgh City on one route, and Leith on another. I needed to go to Leith so this was handy as it was great to leave the car at the hotel. I believe The Leonardo is also on an Airport bus route.

Very expensive for meals. Twelve pounds fifty if you booked breakfast day before, fourteen pounds fifty if bought on day. £18 for burger and £16 for pizza. Ate elsewhere.

Steam and sauna was closed for repairs which was disappointing as we had specifically booked this accommodation out of the city for this facility and there was no discount for this

Sauna and steam room weren’t working unfortunately. Stayed on the first floor and were woken up several times by people above us walking around.

A very comfortable stay in a clean and inviting room. Massive bed made for a great nights sleep. Spotless bathroom with a high pressure shower. Helpful and friendly staff. Bus stop 200m walk around the corner with frequent buses to city centre (30 minute ride) and airport (15 minute ride). Good value overall.

A little bit far away from city center but there is a bus stop near the hotel. It takes around 30 mins to get near Edinburgh Castle.

RoomI had was 'upgrade' on top floor, a bit battered & window double glazing had failed so nice outlook was impaired. Whole place is a bit tired, could do with a lick of paint & a bit more. Not the besy value for money I have seen.

Large room with vast bed, ensuite everything worked. Restaurant was ok but cost a bit higher & quite limited menu.

Clean hotel, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The bed was big and comfortable and the room was a decent size. A breakfast is available for £13 per person and it is definitely worth it to pay for it. The hotel is located outside of Edinburgh but just a few minutes walk away is a bus stop with buses running every other minute into the city centre.

We picked this hotel due to it having a pool, steam room and sauna. We w received an email the week before to tell us that they would be closed during our stay which was extremely disappointing and if wee had been given more notice we would have changed hotel.

The food in the restaurant was not great however the friendliness of the bar staff were lovely.

The location was great, just a 3 minute walk from the bus stop that took you straight to the city centre and the airport. The bed was very big and very comfortable.

The shower drain did not smell so nice and the floors in The hallway outside our room was very “creaky” so hard to sleep esp when others were walking around.

Having to get our room keys reset every day we were there. Not sure what the problem was but it was not that they were next to phone etc. my mother doesn’t even own a phone lol . This was the key in our bag and the spare in the room so both would be wiped every day regardless of where they were kept .

Great sized bed infact massive , shower large as well. Pleasantly surprised by the size of the pool on site and the 3 vouchers for a free drink was a lovely little touch . Breakfast relaxed and plentiful and staff were mostly brilliant .

I was disappointed with the leisure facilities (pool). I was travelling with my 8 year old son who has additional support needs. He need support with changing. I was told he wasn’t allowed to go in to the female changing rooms and we were told we can use the disabled toilet in the reception lobby. This toilet did not lead directly on to the pool and we had to walk through the reception area past the entrance to get to the pool. I felt it wasn’t very accommodating to people and families with additional support needs.
