Unfortunately the breakfast was very disappointing. A lot of empty silver trays.

I’d like to see more vegan/plant based options at breakfast and in the rooms. The room service menu prices are quite high for what you receive. Finally, we’d love to see the option of booking longer use of the leisure centre in quieter times.

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Perfect size for a family of 4. Great having a bath & shower. The swimming pool is a great size and we always book to use the facilities. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful

Breakfast was good although pastries were a little dry and no hash browns but other than that an excellent choice of food. Reception toiletries rather over priced. Marco Pierre Restaurant supervisor didn’t really know the menu.

Great location, lovely hotel! The Triumph Bar was a surprise! The facilities were great. Staff were super friendly on reception and at the bar. Marco Pierre restaurant food was first class.

Not always enough staff working, particularly on the first night of our stay. This led to very long waits for drinks at the bar. Toilets are miles from the restaurant and not checked often enough for toilet roll. I don't mind not having housekeeping daily, but coffee/tea should therefore be supplied in rooms for the duration of the stay without the need to request it.

The hotel has amazing food and drink, and love the added extras for those that are in the Executive suite area. Rooms are huge and well equipped.

The room didn't have any stationary or bathroom supplies. It was only soap, shampoo & shower gel. All personal kits were available to be purchased like body lotion, hand cream, shower cap, etc The room didn't have enough lightening for makeup

It was all good that we saw but some of the public area carpeting looked rather worn.

The location was excellent and easy to reach. The room we were allocated was lovely, it was really big. The shower was good and the tea and coffee making facilities were good. We did not have breakfast as we went for a Parkrun and would not have been in time. The staff were very helpful.

The steakhouse restaurant was more expensive than the cost of staying at the hotel for two of us. We just ordered two main dishes and a dessert.. we were offered water, bread and olives when we went in for which we had to pay for, and there was a high service charge added to the bill. Despite having advertised a 20% discount at the restaurant, it was not taken from the bill. I just realised this after we left the hotel. We also found that the jacuzzi was very foamy and had something in it that made our eyes burn after a few minutes, and the chlorine in the pool was quite high

Very lovely staff and the hotel is clean and very well kept. The rooms are spacious and very comfy beds. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very attentive too. Lovely facilities. The gym was nice

Only issue we had - we stayed for 2 nights and on the 2nd day our keys stopped working. Easily fixed and staff did it immediately just difficult with a little one as well.

The venue is showing signs of its age, but if you are looking for a stop off with good facilities and brilliant service you can't go wrong.

The whole team were brilliant and welcoming. Really impressed.
