Our room was beside the lift machinery room and it disturbed us all night. The outside of the hotel looks a bit tatty.

Location was good for what I wanted. Didn't use the bar or restaurant, but it looked nice.

Strange off-putting odor throughout the hotel, particularly in Reception and in the main staircase. The odor was so bad in our room we asked for an alternative and were swiftly accommodated. The alternative room also had a faint odor but was more tolerable. The shower was cold and the hotel seemed rundown.

After a long,long day of ct,mri,dental,bloods and overloading of information, the fire alarms which we were unaware whether they were actually fires or a test had my already nervous system going into overdrive not once but several times,there was no call out to say this is a test or to encourage people to vacate

We used tea bags on arrival never replaced, as well as milk in room.the receptionist couldnt find our booking .felt he looked for a vacant room .after i showed our ref number. Struggled with getting into room as key fob didnt work .all in all not as well as it could have been

The only minor thing was the sink on the bathroom, unfortunately it didn't drain very well and would continuously fill up, requiring aid to unblock it from us.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and took an interest in our son!

Curtains in room in need of attention and one light not working. Windows very dirty. There was no hot water during 2nd evening. Shower OK first morning, but every few seconds the water pressure would drop and water temperature would suddenly become very hot, so not a pleasant experience (possibly dangerous). The worst thing was I was kept awake until 2-3am by noisy guests, including a couple having a big argument in a nearby room at 2.30am.

I found a good deal for 2 nights and appreciated the car park at the hotel, although this is no longer free (although was delighted not to be charged on this occasion). Bed was comfortable. There were plenty of sockets plus tea/coffee facilities. Good lighting in bathroom (but not bedroom).

General hotel cleanliness, reception computer was down when i arrived which delayed check in, the double bed room I booked wasn't available so i ended up with a single bed in a twin room.

Pillows could have been a little more full. We both had two pillows which wasn't enough. Bathroom light flickers and room 422 was right next to lift which was noisy. Room was a little tired looking and could do with a freshening up.

Breakfast was really good. A buffet breakfast with everything catered for. From full cooked to cereal, fruit, bread, etc. All top quality. Car park was a plus with a 15 minute walk to venue along great Western rroad which was nice. Really nice area. Bed was comfortable and room a cosy compact size.

Comfortable, clean and good value for money. Good restaurant food and pleasant atmosphere. Good size room with all you need in it.

There was a problem with the shower that needed a part so I wasn't able to take a shower until day 3. I could have moved rooms but didn't want the bother. The menu used to have little choice but now it is worse. Less choice and more expensive I did not eat here this time. I used to like the breakfast but they stopped supplying the things that I enjoyed so I now do not pay the £14 for it. Menu very poor for vegetarians. OK if you are into bacon and sausage.

Very comfortable bed and a spacious room and nice view. I have stayed here many times before. There is a large car park, rare in Glasgow and good public transport links into the city. It is in a pleasant area. The staff are lovely and I feel comfortable there. Great value in winter too. It could do with a little tlc in places (missing curtain hooks) but nothing major.

Breakfast was great, but bit disjointed ... bacon ready, then fried eggs, then scrambled eggs but not as same time. Looked like bit short-staffed but they did well ... thanks to Scott & staff.

Friendly Reception check-in on Saturday and check out on Sunday.
