Lack of information: we weren’t told where the dining room was, that there was an option of eating in the restaurant which is separate from the bar eating area. Down the corridor of rooms 1-6 and in room 1 there was a smell of wet dog/carpet.

The room was adequately equipped for what we needed, the location was great and over looked the loch! The Room was clean comfortable and well maintained.

Is too expensive ,very noisy, very cheap breakfast. Room not clean,broken furniture. Sink started to make loud noise in a middle of night. In general very dirty hotel and wouldn't come back ever. Is only 1 hotel in that are who been rated 3.3 stars. Choose wisely your stay and read reviews before your stay,this what i haven't done.

Room was not clean apart from the bed sheets. Bathroom had hair on the floor from whoever was in there before. Heated towel rack was off the wall and didn't work. Bed is solid with no give. It's easy for 1 night.

First room I was put in was small and dirty. Smelt like stain cigarettes. The carpet was covered in stains. The staff member who was stood in my room whilst I was pointing out the problems with my room said oh I have never had a complain before in stead of agreeing that the room was dirty. They had no options for children's menu for dinner. Where as online stated they had a child's menu. The hit tub was broken.

The location was amazing. The breakfast was lovely.

Uncomfortable bed. Could do with some new mattresses. Other Little bits and pieces could be done to improve the place ie. Replace the rusty bin in the bathroom.

The room did not look like in the pictures, there was just one loft window that did not open. It was very humid and hot so we asked for a different room. We were offered a much nicer room which makes me think they keep the bad ones for Booking.

Staff was very helpful. We got a better room in less than an hour.

The room was very dark, it was facing onto other rooms and the a roof top outside the room was full of rubbish, the room was very noisy off the fans from the kitchen, and other guests talking outside the room. The car park had rubbish on the ground and bins was overflowing.

Breakfast was great, staff was friendly on reception and in the breakfast room. The entrance inside the hotel was very clean and tidy.

In 2023 an hotel mist have WiFi for customers! This hotel had no WiFi available! That's unbelievable!

Where do I start. When we checked in, I had booked a double room with a skylight but got told we had been upgraded to a room with a window, the window looked out on to a roof with four walls three stories high so not much natural light could get I so room was very dull all the time. The bathroom light didn't work, and even after telling management didn't get fixed, I had to make do with the light on the mirror. The mugs were filthy we got clean ones, but the dirty ones remained in the room our entire stay. In the lounge, there were dead spiders in the heaters, loads of spider webs, and spiders on the windows. The foos was good but not much choice, and on our first night, the service was very slow. The remote control for the TV didn't work and needed to be replaced. The bed was hard. The noise was ridiculous as there was no soundproofing, and our upgraded room was right beside the stairs, so you heard everyone going up and down.

The only 2 things I feel this hotel has going for it, is the location and the food

Our staying at Long Loch hotel was the most expensive and the less fascinating of our travel. The hotel is old with old furnitures and a kind of sad atmosphere. The staff is kind but not so enjoyable, the room a bit little and without big towels for the shower. I think we payed too much for how I value the property, also comparred to other places where we stayed at.
