  • “They say you get what you pay for, I certainly got more than I paid for. Helpful staff. Clean and comfy room. Spotless bathroom. A good evening meal. Excellent breakfast. Value for money.”

  • “The weather was cold but the chalet was very warm and cosy. The beds and sofas were comfy, there was sufficient space for 3 adults and 3 children, the chalet was very clean, there was sufficient crockery for cooking. The owners were responsive and polite. The wider Hunters Quay complex has good facilities.”

    “Everything”

  • “Stayed for one night at Arrochar Hotel. The location is fantastic. Couldn't be beaten. The views are amazing! The beds are comfortable and clean. The room had a kettle and teas/coffees/biscuits. The rooms are spacious and have enough storage. The check out time (11am) was perfect. The staff are helpful and friendly.”

  • Sealladh Na Mara Review score: 8

“The open plan areas were lovely and spacious, with great views across Holy Loch.”

  • Ardgartan Hotel Review score: 8

“Lovely setting, quality feel about hotel, good location”

  • The Tarbet Hotel Review score: 8

“The staff was very nice and friendly and the hotel was recently repainted, as the smell of fresh paint still there. Further typically Scottisch hotel where simplicity is key, and style is nowhere to be found. Rooms same where the bed was good, just as the hygiene. However room was outdated, just as the bathroom. All worked properly and sheets were clean, which counts in our opinion. Food was good, but avoid salads as too much mayonnaise/dressing”

  • Gleann Fia House Review score: 9

“Home from home, lots of space for the children to play upstairs. Lovely cosy lounge with log burning fire. Nice spacious kitchen and dining area, plenty room for 8 people. The location is stunning, beautiful views from the house and on the doorstep of some great walks. Short walk to local pub/ restaurant. Owner was easily contactable when an issue arose and keen to get it resolved. Would definitely recommended.”
