Neither of these are major dislikes and definitely not enough putting me off staying again. In fact, we are looking to book for an event in the summer. The WiFi on the TV wasn't great and kept buffering on live TV / on demand shows. It played YouTube videos relatively well. In the bathroom the waterfall shower head filled the basin quite quickly and the half screen let water onto the floor. Even with the mat down the bathroom floor got quite wet, especially after two people showering.

Incredibly friendly staff from beginning to end. We were met by Meg, who was very helpful in giving recommendations and was willing to help with anything. They were happy to securely look after our luggage after we checked out which meant we had a more relaxing time around Liverpool before our flight. The room was very spacious, especially for such a central location in Liverpool. The room was very well decorated including a couple seats and a pull out sofa bed if you're travelling in a group. The bar / restaurant was easily accessible from our room, though we only made use of this for a nightcap before bed. The location was perfect, so close to all the shops, bars and restaurants in town and just a small walk to the Albert Dock to see the sights and enjoy more food and drinks.

Some areas ready for refurb but still clean and the bar/kitchen serves a good breakfast and cocktails (in the evening!).

Cosy and brilliant position for exploring the touristy attractions. Got some character and friendly staff.

The room (207) was a little dark due to the window looking out onto a wall and the shower did not have a screen which meant the water spread around the bathroom.

Convenient location situated very near Hanover St. Q-Park ( 2 full days of secure parking for £18) Lovely breakfast with a wide range of choice.

The only downside was that the sink was very small in the bathroom, and the shower screen did not stop water spraying onto the floor (room 102). Not a major issue though.

The staff were fabulous, and the room was great. The location was fantastic too. Top hotel!

I didnt find a problem, but If you struggle with stairs, avoid the no Window room on the 4th floor

I used for an overnight stay and the hotel was amazing. Very comfortable bed and it was very clean. Good value for money. I will definitely go back on my next stay in Liverpool.

Room definitely needs some upkeeping. The shower is mouldy and it leaks onto the carpet in the room, the bathroom door doesn't fully close, the king bed is actually 2 twins zipped together in a stained cover, the window blinds are broken and the wallpaper is ripped in multiple places. We didn't get any housekeeping as, during our first day, someone knocked on the door asking if we needed towels or toiletries, but she was storing the clean towels on the floor, as she grabbed some ready to give them to us.

Amazing front desk clerk, so polite and personable. Room had a nice size and we found everything we needed. We really appreciated the opportunity to have water brought to the room, as well as the convenience of being able to order room service from the downstairs restaurant. The hotel is in a great area, although it gets a bit noisy at night, I think this is the best sleep you could get in the city centre.

The only thing that I didn't like was the shower... The glass only came half over and when you showered the water went over the floor and I felt bad that I soaked the towel and floor! Just couldn't get my head round half a door when the shower head was not even behind it! Other than that a beaut of a stay 😊

As an old building with steep steps to the main door, it might not be ideal for everyone, although the entrance through the bar does have a ramp up to reception level

Honestly nothing negative to say!

Extremely friendly Reception and bar/cafe team! Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Nothing fancy but if you want a clean, safe and comfortable short stay in a very good and well connected location, then pick this. The price is very reasonable!
