Arrival, as above Phone in room did not work so I could not speak to reception

Hotel was great for overnight at Heathrow. However, given how lose it is to the terminal transport with cases was unbelievably difficult. I took a local bus to the hotel, which with luggage was really hard. There was no help with baggage on arrival at the hotel, so had to deal with hotel steps etc. welcome at reception was underwhelming at best. I ordered the recommended taxi at great expense to get to the terminal the next day, but it was late so I ended up jumping in with someone else to get there on time. I don’t understand why all the hotels on that road don’t band together and offer a free hotel shuttle. There’s certainly demand. And if I have to pay 25gbp each way for a short taxi ride, maybe next time I’ll just use the hotel in the terminal at a premium.

The leisure centre needs some TLC. Changing rooms aren't very clean, and particularly the showers are plagued with molds and fungus. Floors need to be more regularly cleaned. Disappointing was also the 'airport shuttle'. For one adult and two children I was quoted £20 for a 5 minute car journey.

A change to the breakfast from a help you self to a set menu 🤔 and the waiting staff and the kitchen staff clearly were having problems between them, a manager had to be called more than ones 🤔

Another great stay at the marriott Hotel fast check-in staff were very welcome, and our room was very clean. The bed were comfortable

Always seems to be a problem with being overcharged for final bill and car parking charges always seem to be a problem so i end up having to be sent a penalty fine as hotel do not input the registration plate on arrival even though you give them your registration so then i have to email the hotel once i get penalty so the charge can be cancelled which is annoying.

The cleanliness and facilities were excellent for my family and disabled son, breakfast amazing and staff fantastic.

Initially put in a room directly above the main atrium with hundreds of diners/drinkers which wasn’t great (just don’t have a room there!) but staff moved me politely and quickly.

Noisy breakfast. Not on a shuttle bus run FROM the airport was an inconvenience. To get TO the airport you need to book a ride which was fine.

No face clothes were in our room. We had to ask. When trying to call the office from our room I kept getting a machine. I couldn't get the help*needed. My husband was able to get past the machine and talk to the office. The phones were mainly my nemesis. Breakfast staff was amazing and so was the food.

Stained carpet and toilet seat (worn out) . The breakfast was not buffett but a-la-carte. Limited variety of bread. Overall good, but not up to the standards expected by this hotel chain.

The matresses were very comfy. Sufficient space in the room.

Although expected in London, it was expensive.

Very close to airport. Comfortable and clean with some amenities to entertain us while waiting to return the airport. Decent food options considering there is almost nothing else nearby other than airport hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful and stored our luggage for us while we went walking. Easy to get "We Know London" shuttle back to airport.

Obviously there were some problems in the breakfast system. One morning 3 servers came to us to take our order, but next morning we had to wait for a server for 15 minutes. When I asked some servers, who came to the nearby table, to take our order, they told us to wait for other servers and ran away. We saw some guests leave without having breakfast after waiting for the server or dishes for a while. I hope that the hotel or the restaurant would reconsider the breakfast system. And housekeeping staff didn’t refill the body soap. It was a little bit disappointing.

The location was good. There were some bus stops near the hotel, so we could use public transportation to go to London. We liked the room. It was big enough for 2 adults and really comfortable. We liked the furniture, especially the couch. The café next to the restaurant was also good. Drinks were expensive, but homemade sandwiches were reasonable and tasted good.

Under 16 years of age couldn't use the gym facilities even with a supervising adult. Our teenagers use gyms and are sensible so it would have been good if ( with our agreement) they could have used the gym facility however I understand from an insurance perspective this may be standard practice.

All staff wherever you went were so lovely, courteous and helpful. We had a delay to our flight and needed to extend our stay in the hotel, despite being full the staff worked around this to accommodate us. The swimming pool was great to entertain the teenagers with us. The restaurant was great, lovely menu and found presented to a high standard ( surpassed our experience and expectations of airport hotel facilities) Overall this stay definitely eased the blow of our flight being cancelled at short notice and if you are looking for something higher spec than a chain budget stay that is reasonable in price ( if you book well in advance ) this is the place to stay.
