In truth, I didn't really experience any negatives.

The hotel is located at the top of Edgware Road---just far enough from the busy centre to bring relaxation but not so far as to be unworkable for a tourist. There are, however, many buses that stop close to the hotel that will take you to the centre (Marble Arch) in no time at all--although we used Uber, which is the quickest way to get around. There are also several Tube stations close, too. The area is safe and clean. The hotel was much better than I expected, and the value for money was very good for London. We opted for a 'high floor' room, which was clean and very quiet. It was surprisingly large for London as well. The breakfast was buffet-style, but there was a chef cooking several hot options on request. The quality of food was much better than other London hotels I've stayed in. I will definitely be staying here again the future, as I only had good feelings about the place.

No complaints, I had a good experience at this hotel. The toilet lever came apart and the maintenance staff responded within a 15 minutes to fix the problem.

The location was great. Close to the Tube stations and the buses ran regularly. All within short walking distances. Short travel distances to the main shopping and entertain areas of London. My room was always made up, no matter what time of the day I left out.

calling staff at the front desk sometimes felt like speaking to a bot, there is no need to be uptight/, defensive all the time... that makes me as a guest not look forward to asking for anything via phone

The staff was lovely! I had mentioned that it was our honeymoon, and they left a thoughtful surprise for us in our room. Our room was kept nice and clean. I’m obsessed with bathroom cleanliness, and our bathroom was immaculate!

Good location , just 5 minutes walk from the metro station. Lots of grocery shops and some nice pubs nearby. The breakfast offer is very good, with fresh vegetables, hot dishes prepared on request, buffet of cold meats and cheeses. Large tidy rooms suitable for a family even for a few days stay.

There was no one to help us bring our suitcases inside the building and to our room when we arrived by car. That would've provided a bonus to the service.

All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly clean and very comfortable. It was also very spacious and well-maintained. Carluccio, the Italian restaurant of the hotel, was also great!

In order to pre book car parking, customers need to download the JustPark App and book through this. This is cheaper and allows pre booking. It is possible to arrive at the hotel and request parking but this risks non availability of spaces in is more expensive. We had to move spaces after arrival as the reception had initially guided us to a “ hotel” space as opposed to a “just park” space.

I was disappointed that there was no windows that could be opened in the morning to allow fresh air in. I was also disappointed that you had to leave the hotel to go to the swimming pool as the hotel states the swimming pool is in the hotel. When we did go swimming there was a class on and we were not made aware of by the hotel so we couldn't take the swim with my family. We also could not get a drink in the bar or in reception once the bar closed and we were being charged for room service as residence. I think you could allow those staying in the hotel to have an hours grace to stay in the bar for one or two drinks especially when you return from a show in the west end and then you couldn't get a drink in the bar! Some finger food could also be made available1
