Nice comfortable for one man stay. The location is easy to access bus that can take you to train station. It was 5 minutes walk to the event I went for so it was really okay

Room rather cramped. Could have been more generous with the soap and shampoo.

Very good location. Close to supermarkets and places to eat. Easy to find the hotel, on the main road. Some parking at the hotel (2 spaces) but free on road parking in the adjacent side roads from 4pm to 10am and 6pm to 8am. Single room a bit small, but had everything I needed. Comfortable bed. Room and bathroom both very clean. Reception was quick and efficient. Breakfast was fine (continental)

The bathroom was 'cosy' and I could hear my neighbour leaving his/her room, but no biggie.

Friendly welcome, good WiFi and shower, all clean, pillows pretty good, and a decent breakfast all for £53 on an easy bus route into Oxford! What's not to like.

Would have liked a bit more hot selection for breakfast. E.g. egg, bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms. However the croissants were a gorgeous addition

Liked how close it was to the restaurant that we had reservations at. Great parking, directly outside. The room was lovely and clean and the owners had thought of everything, including extension leads with usb sockets next to the bed. The bed was firm but comfy and we had a great nights sleep. Next morning breakfast was lovely with really attentive service. Will definitely be staying again.

Breakfast was served in the guest house two doors down on the same street but this wasn’t a problem for us. It’s worth the 30 second walk, just the selection of items could be a little wider.

Nice little bed and breakfast with friendly staff, well located on a frequent bus route into Oxford (or even walkable on a nice day if you have time). Good value for money.

My room was close to the road so sometimes, the cars were disturbing but nothing too serious.

Stayed for 3 nights. The location was really strategic and wonderful. The bus stop is right in front. And it's one bus from Oxford railway station to the guesthouse. The room was really comfortable and spacious for 1. I booked a double room. Anthony was a good host from the start. Breakfast was intercontinental but still a good selection. Anthony was really helpful with information.

They might need to further check the cleanliness of beddings when collecting them from the laundry company?

The room was perfect, all we needed. The host allowed us to park our mountainbikes in the glasshouse in the garden. That would be much safer, he said. Very kind of him. Perfect location for a visit to Oxford. We had a few lovely days.

A lot of light pollution from the street at night, curtains very basic, no blackout facility. Quite damp smelling hallway in the rainy weather, a bit musty with carpets bedroom.
