Dolly was so cosy, clean and comfortable. Everything we wanted for our last minute getaway. It had enough privacy despite it being in the owners back garden. Martine and her husband were so welcoming, gave amazing recommendations and made our stay so perfect. We got engaged whilst on our trip and they really made it feel special for us. The breakfast was lovely on a beautiful spring morning. Nothing was too much hassle and we cannot wait to come visit again.

The shepherd's hut is in the back garden of the owners house. However, it would not put us off staying again. We didn't want to disturb the owners when returning from a meal out late at night.

Everything was perfect and Martine couldn't have done enough for us. Heater provided to keep Dolly warm as the weather was particularly cold over the time we stayed. Perfect location on the edge of the New Forest.

Martine and Ivor couldnt have been more welcoming and accommodating. The shepherds hut was immaculate too with everything you could need for a break away. We had a delicious breakfast brought to us each morning too so we could enjoy it in the garden sunshine. Couldn't recommend this place enough, the location is perfect too as you feel like you're embracing the outdoors, while still being close by to the new forest, a lovely local pub and local transport links!

Martine & Ivor made our stay so welcoming, they are excellent hosts! Dolly is absolutely beautiful and decorated to a high standard. If you fancy a break in gorgeous surroundings with a cosy, shabby chic cottage vibe, this place is for you. Perfect for couples or for a single traveler who wants to escape the rat race and leave all their worries at the door. Dolly is just stunning and I can’t wait to go back!

Lovely location in a very peaceful area down the bottom of a beautiful garden. A perfect place if you want to get away and relax. Martine made us feel very welcome and had some fantastic recommendations for places to visit and eat etc. Breakfast was brought to you every morning and was more than enough, would really set you up for either a busy day exploring or just relaxing in a very peaceful and well looked after setting. My partner, Joe, even took some fantastic photographs of the hosts dog, Archie, who loves fuss! We have already discussed staying again as there are some areas we didn’t visit but really want to. We cannot recommend highly enough to anyone wanting to stay here, five stars!

My second stay in Dolly Blue. First was in 2016. Dolly is still beautiful, cosy and spotless set in beautifully kept and peaceful surroundings. Ivor and Martine are fabulous kind hosts and I was so glad to see little Archie the Cockapoo again and give him a big fuss.

We stayed at dolly for a surprise birthday treat for my girlfriend's 22nd. Martine and Ivor were extremely friendly and welcoming. Martine was especially lovely and gave lots of advice for the best places to eat and good places to visit. Dolly was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had everything we needed. Breakfast was especially good and there were lots to choose from and was brought to you in a lovely basket. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
