Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomSleep was disturbed by gurgling from pipes in bathroom, possibly from neighbouring rooms flushing the toilet.
Close to bus station. Clean rooms with almost everything you might need. (body lotion in the bathroom would be welcome) Very comfy bed and pillows.

United KingdomPaid for a room with view but there was no view only the brick work from the theatre across the road! If advertising a room with a view think the room should've been way higher than the second floor!
Hotel was very central for everything we had planned for our stay! 3 minute walk from the bus station. Staff were very welcoming. Room was very comfortable and clean. Bath in the bathroom was a nice surprize. Even though our room was only two floors up, we didn't hear any outside noise or traffic. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. Loads to choose from, and tasted fresh and hot with it being a buffet.

RomaniaThe hot water wasn’t that hot…I think was set around 38 degrees so sometimes after a long walk in the cold the shower temperature wasn’t enough.
Very good located, short walk from restaurants, shops, shopping centers and buses. It was very clean and the staff was very nice. I really liked that they took into account my request of a quiet room since I am a light sleeper and got a room on the 12th floor. I travel a lot and honestly this is the best sleep I ever had in a hotel (no noise + extremely comfy bed). The bathroom was nice and well ventilated.

Contacted Maldron several times through booking.com but have had radio silence since would put me off staying again as can't stand poor after customer service.
Location was great for what we wanted. Large room and comfy bed.
