Excellent location for exploring the Lake District around Keswick. Great views of Skiddaw from the front of the property. We were extremely warmly welcomed on our arrival and given lots of information about the guest house and local area. Room was exceptionally comfortable, well appointed and clean, the breakfasts were fantastic. We would not hesitate to stay here again on any future visits to the area.

Nothing, we had a fab stay and had everything we could possibly need.

A lovely and warm guest house with a fantastic host; really made us feel at home and really looked after us. Don't always get that so hats off! Room was very well provided for and bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was superb and set us up for a proper walking day, as was the cake for us to have at the top of the fells! Good location, just outside of Keswick but within walking distance of some great and a range of pubs and food. Couldn't ask for more really!

Slightly earlier breakfast would be good for those wishing to hit the hills.

Excellent breakfast, very good choice to suit all tastes and levels of hunger. Nice extras such as chill jam to go with the avocado.

Great location , comfortable beds lots of lovely little touches , lovely local toiletries . Beautiful breakfast and Kate and Anne were perfect hosts giving great advice of places to visit ., some lovely pubs and restaurants walking distance ,Absolutely loved our stay and definitely will stay again

Food and service was excellent, and the staff were great and knowledgeable about the area. Dog friendly, the back garden was great for our fur babies to let off steam before breakfast and bed.

Kate and her staff were wonderful,nohing too much trouble and they all made our stay of 4 nights really relaxing and fun. Good location and good bus routes from the property. Kate was also very knowledable about the lake district and what to visit We will definatly go back Ted and Dennis

Fantastic breakfast, everything you could ask for. Very friendly hosts, lovely new shower room, comfortable bed, beautiful views over to Skiddaw. We would highly recommend a stay. Short drive to Keswick. Short walk into the village to pubs and restaurants.

There wasn’t one single thing we didn’t like!

The host Kate was truly wonderful, her kindness and attention to detail was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble and so helpful too. The hotel and amenities itself was superb and the fry up in the mornings was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! We had the best stay here and would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Kate and her mother were very welcoming and helpful. Everything was organised and efficient. The room had a view of Skiddaw, except it didn’t as the weather was awful! But, hey ho, it’s the Lake District. Short walk into the village and convenient bus service on the doorstep. Breakfast was superb and the staff involved excellent.

Lovely location, warm and welcoming . The house is beautiful with great views of skiddaw. Close to the village with lots good places to eat. Nice cultured decor. Breakfast was delicious too.
