Dinner was lovely but I thought it was slightly overpriced. £17.00 for the scallops starter and there were only 2 scallops... £45.00 for the fillet steak too, the steak was nice but I don't think that it was worth £45.00...

The room was large & spacious. The Nespresso coffee machine is a lovely touch so are the grazing nuts & Tunnocks chocolate wafers. Also, the ensuite was really nice, the complimentary toiletries are a nice touch.

The only thing that could be better is to have more options on the menu in the restaurant.

The rooms are amazing, very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. I don’t often feel relaxed at hotels but it’s easy to relax at your hotel. I loved being on the ground floor too.

The small glass shelves on the bed-sides can come loose when picking things off them - this happened twice and they fell to the ground. A small bowl at breakfast to out the yoghurt and fruit into would be good, and a larger place for the croissant.

Excellent breakfast, great shower, comfy bed, dark room with good lights. Good coffee machine in the room, very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Easy walk just down the road into the centre of Portree

I can’t say enough about my stay at marmalade. the facility appeared to be newly renovated. The rooms were decorated beautifully. The staff was genuinely kind and thoughtful. I had breakfast and dinner both days, and I highly recommend having your meals in the dining room. The food was locally sourced and honestly the dinners were some of the best meals I’ve ever had.

Marie at the reception was very helpful for thru our stay for 3 nights, very kind and generous, she had made our stay, very delightful , and she knows a lot of good place for coffee and cakes 😉thank you so much, also we have stayed 2 nights with different room types, them both were very comfortable with beautiful view , peaceful perfect for reading your book in the morning while you enjoy your coffee before going out for sightseeing Also everyone at the hotel are very lovely as well, thank you for looked after us very well

Not all rooms have bath, so specify whether you want bath or shower when you book. Full length mirror in the bedroom for hair drying would be helpful.

Modern luxury in a convenient location on the edge of Portree, 5 minute walk to the town centre shops, pubs, restaurants and sights. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our bedroom was on the top floor the old house, with great views of the port and the mountains. The room was modern, comfortable, practical with large bed, table and chairs, sitting chair, nice touches like pod coffee machine, snacks, nice toiletries, hairdryer. Great breakfast menu, worth booking the breakfast included rate. Restaurant serves steak in the evening, worth booking for one night. Hotel has free parking. Helpful advice with maps, taxi booking, restaurant booking. Laundry service available via a local 3rd party. Thoroughly recommend
