TV reception was poor, if you offer freeview, with today's technology you should be able to supply it.

A very good stay, polite, friendly staff always willing to assist. The food was excellent and the location was prefect as a base to view places a round the local area.

One little niggle - the room window could not be opened. Fresh air would have been nice, although a large fan was in the room.

Evening meal was rather good. My wife has dietary problems and the kitchen staff were able to accomadate.

No face cloths to wash face, to shave and to use with the liquid body wash in the shower. A minor issue with our dinner - although the food was excellent - the wait staff forgot my wine that I ordered and I waited for 10 mins + after my meal had been served and finally had to go and find a staff member to enquire about the wine - meanwhile my pork had cooled off. No adjustments to the bill were offered. However we still enjoyed the meal.

The bed was a little soft for me - but that's just my preference. Everything else was fine.

Lovely period type room with en-suite & that was just the standard room. Very friendly & efficient staff. Great bar selection. Food - both evening meal & breakfast was super-duper. Location is a couple of miles outside of town, but with lovely views over the fileds & pretty quiet - you don't hear the road traffic but faintly hear the trains.

Really warm welcome from reception on arrival and escorted to our rooms. Breakfast was of a high standard and good value for money included in the room price. Lovely, peaceful location. Great place to stop and explore the nearby Berwick-upon-Tweed

Marshall Meadows is a beautifully renovated period building in very fine grounds. Booking and check in were simple. Staff were very helpful. Our room was spacious, well appointed, very quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable so we slept well. Breakfast was excellent with both cold food and a selection of hot dishes. We also dined in the restaurant and thought the food both very good and well priced. We only stayed one night but wished it had been longer. There was ample parking but I would advise parking in the open area not under the trees as we did because there are many birds in these trees.

No Sky Sports on the TV but plenty to do without the TV.

Everything was great from check in to check out. Will definitely arrange another golf trip next year and stay at Marshall Meadows again.

Everything! The ease of access, the parking, the hotel itself, the customer service (which was faultless). We loved the setting, the grounds and we loved the restaurant. Our evening meal and breakfast the next day were both excellent and we cannot wait to return to this spot of absolute charm and luxury
