Reception area and corridors were really hot.

Reception and bar area were and clean and the staff were so lovely. The room was great.. clean and nice and large.

The shower temperature fluctuated very badly to the point i had to keep stepping out, otherwise i would have been scalded. I did report this to the reception upon leaving and the receptionist did apologise and wrote down the issue and said she would get the maintenance team to fix it. Room 318

Headed straight for the pool, which was a bit of a disappointment. Very strange shape with a big triangle cutting it in half, and because swimming lessons were on and tons of kids in too, I wasn't actually able to swim. Had a few mins in the jacuzzi instead. And it didn't open till 8 am, and due to having to leave the hotel at 830 in the morning, it meant i missed my morning swim. Id usually swim at 6am.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Girl on reception was lovely chatted to her a couple of times. Free parking. Breakfast was nice, although I would've liked a little more choice other than full English (or variation of) for hot options as im usually an eggs benedict girl. However, it was made fresh and very nice. Stayed for access to liverpool without the price of liverpool central hotels but for an easy drive in on the morning. There are tons of places to eat within minutes walking and the cinema is right there too. TCB chinese was a great experience for food!

The shower thermostat didn't work and would go from hot to cold repeatedly during your shower.

The coffee machine was key for me but the quality of the coffee was really poor. I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels with better coffee.

Couldn't open bedroom window and air con wasn't working for 2 of the nights out of 4. so room was very hot and unable to sleep for half of the stay.

The shower fluctuated between scalding and freezing, and the breakfast is pricey.

The beds were comfortable, and drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. The staff were also friendly.

Our shower kept going from freezing to scalding hot. It would go cold, then boiling, resulting in me burning my back slightly. The bath had leaks. The area surrounding the hotel is very rough. Some dodgy looking people hanging around the back. Can be quiet intimidating while out and about.

One receptionist in particular could of been a bit more informative or approachable. She was happy to point me in the right direction but didn't go out of her way to help. A HUGE disappointment and inconvenience was when we went swimming, the changing facilities with a baby was was non existent and the private cubicle was too small for baby and so I had to put a towel on a worktop where hairdryers and plugs were in full view of other guests. I did eventually get told there was a changing mat in the accessible toilet which was out of reach and I'd of had to put it on the floor which was not clean.

The location was great. Majority of staff were helpful. Food (breakfast and evening) was good. Stayed in the suite which was brilliant for our toddler.

Key was not working properly , had to come to reception many times to fix . It was very bad experience out of all above good part .

Unfortunately the shower was very intermittent, very hot to very cold, so it was difficult to use.

Easy to find. Attended a family event. Stayed for one night. We were given a free upgrade to a Privilege room 😄 Liked the cleanliness and the free parking was a bonus.
