Didn’t like the evening meal in the bar… The apparent new menu wasn’t impressive the steaks were tuff and the peppercorn sauce was not peppercorn sauce it was more like Bisto gravy!!!

It’s modern the breakfast is great and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

The room itself was nice and bed comfortable, but the facilities poor. The swimming pool was full with people, who were not hotel guests I believe. Jacuzzi (which I was very much looking forward to) was not working. Sauna was dirty. When we arrived, we asked if they had slippers for us. We didn’t brought any with us expecting a hotel with swimming pool etc definitely having it (since many other hotels do have them). The bottle with hand/body lotion was empty.

We order a Sandwich one night from room service. Cheese and shallots toasty. Well we was very disappointed it was basically a two slices of bread with mealted cheese with about 5 pieces or red onion in it, which cost us £17 in total £11 for sandwich and £6 waiter fee. It wasn't how much it cost that disappointed it was what we got... VERY DISAPPOINTED. Not even salad on the side. Way to pricey for what is what.

Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the day and night reception/lobby staff. Breakfast was nice and hot also very friendly staff. Pool was nice. All round very lovely hotel. Will definitely return.

Room & bathroom appear quite modern in the photos however in person they seemed a little dated but still comfortable. Also, was not aware or keen on having an adjoining door to the next room even though it was locked.

The pool area. Not nice at all, very outdated peeling paint and very very neglected. It let the whole experience down. We specifically chose that hotel for the pool for the kids and paid for a more expensive hotel because of it so it was very disappointing and not at all like in the pictures. The rest of our experience was brilliant.

We werent advised that the access road would be closed for the football match. We would have arrived earlier if we had known. Meant we couldnt get to the hotel until around midnight after our event finished.

Nothing really was wrong. A spinning costume drier would have been helpful after swimming. Pillows on bed were really soft and we are used to firmer ones, so had restless night

The room was lovely, we had lots of room and twin sinks in bathroom area. I liked the atrium bar and the food and service was excellent. Great range of food choices for breakfast and fruit was fresh. We used pool and facilities and they were clean and towels were provided

Good location +free parking. Left the car, jumped on the train to London. To get to the station - 10 minutes ride on the taxi. Paid £20. From the station to the hotel -paid £11. Uber or Bolt are not working unfortunately. Booked Superior Family room (2 adults, 3 kids). Huge room, clean and spacious. It was an issue during check in, but been apologised and given drink vouchers. Highly recommend this hotel!

The leisure facilities - pool, jacuzzi and sauna were awful. Dated, dirty and not at all in keeping with the rest of the hotel. The area is very small and scattered with plastic patio furniture. It was the opposite of luxurious and inside the sauna you could see actual litter and dirt piled up in the corner where it had clearly been swept there. This was really disappointing as it was this feature that made us select this hotel over other options and we wouldn’t have bothered to use these facilities at all had we known how bad they were.

The hotel was lovely and the room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was ideal for the purpose of our trip (a taxi ride away from an event at Englefield House). Staff were really professional and helpful.
