Excellent quiet area but central to get to many places and shops. Nicely equipped with breakfast options included and great selection of hot drinks ( more than some hotels). Bed comfortable and great shower. Spotlessly clean and modern with good tv selection. Will certainly return.

The property was well equipt and in a quite location with a short walk to the pub and a 10 min walk to the town. Easy drive to stansted airport took the stress out of getting to airport. Dan & Edi left milk, cereal and bread out for us to use which was a nice touch.

everything was amazing! the host accept us after 11pm (which is the latest check in time) Our flight cancelled and we pick this place because it was super close the airport and they left some bread milk butter and jam honey etc. they left too many different tea, coffee and some cookies.. we were super happy to stay in there. we just stayed for 3-4 hours sleep. the bed was very comfortable and the tv has YouTube and Netflix! thanks a million!

Not as strong as "didn't like". More, maybe a suggestion. And one important piece of information! If you arrive in the dark, I think you could just add - "Your accommodation is a separate entrance TO THE LEFT AND ON THE SIDE of the house." It really isn't immediately obvious! The room.was cold when we arrived around 5pm. By 10pm, it was toasty. But there was no information about the heating. I assumed it was likely to be on a timer, but woke up at 2am hot, to find the radiator still blazing away. If we'd had some basic information, we would have turned the radiator down around 11pm. If you like a hot bedroom, you could choose to leave it on. But if you don't know what it's going to do, you can't act accordingly. I absolutely loved your place. It is so well placed for us to visit our son and family, but I'm not going to be able to use you again. I feel really sorry about this. As other reviews have said, the mattress is very, very soft. I'm afraid I really need a firm mattress. My back suffered all day. This is not a criticism, but I can't manage this. Maybe a half- firm compromise? But thank you for providing such an easy, comfortable (apart from the mattress) stay. All the best for 2024.

This is an exceptionally good place to stay in Stansted Mountfichet. The room is finished to a high standard. The attention to detail is excellent. The power shower is really good. Lovely to have everything you need for a quick breakfast - milk, bread, butter, spreads, cereals. Tea, instant coffee and biscuits for an afternoon snack. Toiletries in the bathroom. TV which is easy to work. A folder with info on local eateries. Parking. It is completely separate from the main house, with coded entry.

Property was cold sometimes as heating turned off and on, and it stayed off for a longer times, also flooring was cold too.

Very clean, modern, comfortable big bed, they provided a cot for a baby too. Nice breakfast choices, 9min walk from restaurants and shops.

It was quite chilly when we arrived and we weren’t sure how to adjust the room temperature. There was a dial thermostat in the room, but it didn’t make much of a difference. Either way, it was late and we didn’t want to bother anyone, and it wasn’t a big deal after all.

It was an enjoyable stay, albeit a short one. Edi & Dan are wonderful hosts and were quick to respond to our questions. It was everything we’ve hoped for. For those planning their trip, I’d highly recommend staying there. It’s close to the airport, but we didn’t hear any airplane noises whatsoever, or any noises for that matter. I suggest you take a train from Stansted Airport to Stansted Mountfitchet, as it’s about 7 minute walk to the property, as taxi might be pricey (we paid £45 for this short ride).

This apartment was only a 15 minute walk from the Stansted express. It was super clean. The instructions were clear and the communication was very quick. They left us some snacks for breakfast and the apartment was super clean. Incredible

Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The apartment has everything and more that you could need for an overnight stay. Loved the thoughtful addition of tea/coffee, milk/butter and bread/cereal as well as toiletries in the bathroom. Comfy bed and amazing shower. Very close to Stanstead airport so ideal for an early morning flight. Edi was super friendly and helpful when we arrived too. Thank you for a great stay.

Stayed here before going on holiday - was flying from Stansted. Such a perfect room for this, will absolutely stay again. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The nearby pub (within 2 mins walk) is a great village pub with good food.
