It was an excellent stay at an excellent price for such luxury. You are greeted by a lovely garden upon arriving. The breakfast was exceptional as advertised. The room was perfectly comfortable with a king sized bed and double shower. Extra touches like dressing gowns and a cafetière were impressive. The coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits were delicious. I was pleased to see shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and lotion dispensers in the bathroom which are kinder to the environment than disposables.

The WIFI dropped to around 3mb in the early evening but this couldn't be helped. The site is out in the wonderful countryside and to have WIFI at all is great.

Helen and Andy went out of their way to ensure breakfast was ready for 0730 for me, This allowed me to get to work on time. The food on both mornings was exceptional and I would not hesitate in recommending Newbarton Court

Very pleasant host who gave us a warm welcome. She even went out of her way to prepare a lovely quality breakfast for us at 6.30am. The room we had was a quadruple interlinking which had 2 singles beds in 1 room and a double in the other. Excellent value for money and we will definitely be staying again. Thank you.

Nothing to dislike

It was peaceful and relaxing. Loved listening to the cattle and birdsong. Our rooms were immaculate with nice decor. Very clean. Breakfast was cooked well and nicely presented . The host was very friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. The setting of the b & b was perfect- will definitely go back

Empty dispensers in washroom. No working lock on washroom door.

For adjoining rooms, only 1 fan between them and for the latest heatwave the duvets were heavy. No single sheet to throw over you .

No reply to my phonecall as host was out. Scaffolding around the whole house. Difficult to lock bedroom door. Given wrong bedroom but this wasn't an issue. However, was charged the same price. Confusing breakfast layout as seated where there were a selection of things for all guests. Not allowed to choose where I sat at breakfast. Breakfast - not local produce yet this is on a rural farm.

A lovely traditional and characterful farmhouse in a peaceful setting with far reaching countryside views. Comfortable beds and everything you need is at hand. A large selection of homecooked breakfasts and a friendly hostesses. Its in easy reach of the motorway and was perfect for us as restful overnight stop. Wish we had time to try the recommended short walks from the property to properly take in the scenery before we left.

No privacy having breakfast. Very noisy. The door leading to the space where car was parked, making too much noise.

Beautiful environment, very comfortable rooms, unbelievable breakfast with many different things to choose and all handmade. Friendly people staying in there. Well kempt place.
