How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The beds make a strong noise and the kitchen floor needs to be repaired because it cannot be cleaned
The location is great in the heart of the city I didn't need to get in the car. The host is a respectful, friendly and dedicated person. He gave us help and sent us all the tourist sites with some explanation and that was important to us on our first visit . I loved the place and very satisfied with the service

Very tidy and lovely apartment equipped with everything you need. The communication was easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. Nick Naysmith is a great host and there when you need him, very nice and wants to share all hé know about the area. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and although it’s a lively neighborhood, the apartment is quiet! Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

The kitchen was suffering a bit from use and a bit shabby around the edges with loose floor tiles and the hob in need of repair (only 2 zones functioning properly). Window did not have a handle. However we were probably the last occupants before a major overhaul of the flat. New windows have already been installed! Bit tricky to seat 6 adults at the same time in the kitchen as it was tight for 4.
Great location, perfect for walking into the centre and just across the bridge from the stadium. It was perfect for 4 of us (adults). Comfy single beds and a good size. Useful to have both a washing machine and a dishwasher. Nick was extremely helpful and answered queries promptly. Thank you Nick for making our stay hassle free.

Location is amazing, literally on the doorstep of the city centre. The host, Nick, was incredibly helpful and even sent us a list of different things we could do around Cardiff to help make our trip better. Easy check - in Good facilities e.g. Smart TV, TV in each bedroom, extra mattresses/bedding, fans in each room, hairdryers etc.

We couldn't have asked for a better location, it was perfect for the city centre and access to the Principality Stadium! The apartment was very spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. We were lucky enough to be upgraded on arrival, meaning we also had a secluded garden which was lovely. Nick was very communicative, giving clear self-check in instructions and helped with any questions we had.

Couldn’t fault it!
FANTASTIC LOCATION!! could walk into the city centre within 5/10 mins and next door to the principality stadium, literally cannot rate the location enough!! stayed here on the 28/05/22. It’s a spacious apartment, quiet area with no street noise which was great being so close to the stadium. friendly host, couldn’t have asked for better communication or a more friendly service. due to a very last minute cancellation by another property, I booked this property at 07:00am on the day of arrival, host was very responsive, accommodating and provided great information on Cardiff, friendly, professional and very welcoming!! Nick even went out of his way to say we could drop our bags off, even if the cleaners were not finished (due to our last minute booking). The apartment was ready on arrival and it was lovely, upstairs and down stairs so we were not on top of each other, lots of room. plenty of parking in the area so no need to pay £££’s for private parking!! secured access with key safe, perfect if there is a group of you as keys safe on-site without the need to share them/carry them out. great modern apartment, everything we needed was in the apartment, overall 10/10!! couldn’t fault the stay. Thank you Nick, highly recommended!

Beds were a wee bit creaky.
Amazing location, incredibly cheerful, friendly and charming host. The living room is the perfect spot to have a few quiet drinks before the rugby starts - and the walk to the stadium could not be any easier, you are in the middle of all of the action, just across the river!
