We were in the loft (5tf floor) and without an elevator. It was hard to access the room with a heavy suitcase and 2 yo kid. They should warn you about this and perhaps offer a smaller room but with easier access. Pillows were too hard.

    Location, clean.

The inability to have a shower in the room without the fire alarm being set off!

Liked how close it was to the shore front and secure everything was.

Would have liked bins to be emptied after day 2.

I loved the compact cabin like small double room which was perfect for a solo traveler. I loved the attention to detail such as the sleep mask and ear plugs provided. Everything that was needed was supplied, toiletries, coffee machine and capsules, cute sweets, tea etc. it was warm and comfortable and I felt very safe with the code entry system. The location was superb and so central. I really enjoyed my stay and will certainly return to no. 1 Broad Street.

Shower was ok, a bit temperamental and mirror light didn’t work. Didn’t spoil anything, just a note.

The location was great, room was comfy, clean and tidy. Check in was easy and it had all the facilities you’d expect from the room.

The communal staircase could do with a revamp to be more inviting, large stains were present.

Room 10. It was of 3-4* hotel standard with good toiletries, hairdryer, ironing, coffee machine, microwave, sink and TV

The bathroom sink was a little small for filling the kettle or washing dishes. As others have mentioned it was a little noisy on the Saturday night (potentially due to the Centre Stage being a few doors down), but I had earplugs so it wasn’t much of an issue.

We booked the small double room and although it was pretty small, it was perfect as our base for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable and it was great having a kettle and microwave.

A simple place to stay from which to explore Brighton

A few niggles but great overall. The electric shower was weak and turning off the "running all the time" extractor fan to reduce the noise overnight was difficult. The coffee maker leaked water but only on the work surface. The bathroom is compact and bijou!

Great location - A good place to explore Brighton. Comfortable bed. Suited us down to the ground as a place to stay before the marathon. It's a compact space but a good base if you're not spending much time in your room (which you shouldn't be in Brighton!)

Nothing really. Lack of reception meant no change of leaving baggage before or after stay but there are companies offering this service within Brighton

Excellent location, close to Brighton centre and to all Kemp Town, a few minutes from the Pavilion. . Comfortable room with all basic requirements. While no staff other than cleaners on site, the management checked that all was OK through message.

The bathroom is very small, especially the sink is too small with a large flow of tap water on the other hand making it a bit messy to simply brush your teeth.

Location was super! Close to many pubs, the promenade and a 10 min walk to the Laines. The check in and check where the smoothest I ever experienced.

Two small comments The shower vent could be cleaner and there is some discolouration of the grouting at the bottom of the shower tiles. It was difficult to move the chair - which I needed to do quite frequently in such a compact room. Better if it had legs that could slide.

Very comfy bed, price and location were very good
