Great location, stairs are brutal, nice enough place to stay if you are fit for the stairs

It was REALLY warm, I had the windows open for the entire duration of my stay and it wasn't even warm days when I was there. The stairs are brutal, you need to be fit, thankfully I am, the first two are fine, but that last set there's barely room for your feet! I know it can't be helped, but oh my! If I was being fussy, I'd say someone needs to take a toothbrush to clean round the tap, but cleanliness was good otherwise! Bed wasn't ultra comfortable (first night I never moved so never noticed, but I had a restless second night due to early flight, I ended up sleeping over the crack between the mattresses, which wasn't ideal!

It was a nice enough apartment with everything I needed for a couple of nights, loved the little kitchen and the box of biscuits was a lovely personal touch that makes you smile when you enter a property, I've only stayed in one other place where they did that and it was honestly the nicest stay we've had anywhere as it was so personalised! So Kudos for that! The location is excellent for Edinburgh, you're a stones throw away from St James quarter and just a couple of streets from Princes St.

A few small things could make this a much better unit. They have cooking pans, yet no utensils for cooking (spatulas, etc). There's also no basic cooking items like salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc. It just seems odd to give the idea that someone could cook for themselves then not actually providing the correct tools to do so

Very nice and clean unit that was located near a lot of shops, pubs, cafes and attractions.

I personally found it a little small for 3 adults, but as it was only a few nights and we were out more than we were in, it was fine.... I didn't like being at the back of the property as our view was of a brick wall.... but it didn't matter as we were out most of the time.

Great little studio apartment with everything you need....Great location!

Would be perfect if it had storage solutions for clothes. Example: Coat hanger, somewhere to put cloths on top of

The accommodation is situated in a building that appears rather worn out. Our room was located upstairs and lacked an elevator.

The room was exceptionally clean and large with modern aesthetic, featuring comfortable showers, toilets, and compact kitchens. Its central location in the city is highly convenient. There were no issues in locating the accommodation or gaining entry.

I wasn’t able to contact the person in charge during my stay. I tried texting and calling the contact number provided. Needed a change of bedsheet as one of the bedsheets has bloodstain (looks like it, or it might be some sauces too).

The property is comfortable and well-equipped, with a kitchen that comes with the basic features and kitchenwares.

The stairs going up can be quite challenging for someone who's got mobility issues. Noise problem: Some of the renters were quite loud during the night. I heard people chatting downstairs at 1AM and banging their doors shut. Also a few incident where a kid was running around outside our door. These are unavoidable though.

The location was perfect. It's quite close to the bus station if you're taking coaches. A few walks away to the stores and essential shops like Sainsbury or M&S. The owner sent easy-to-follow instructions on how to get to the flat / room. The room was clean. Got a nice view outside - we were staying at the top of the flat. Heater is working fine. Shower is nice and clean with lovely strong and warm water. The owner was easy to contact for any concerns or request.

If you’re a shallow sleeper, you will be bothered by traffic noise at bedtime but this subsided after some time.

The lack of option to store luggage at the property should be disclosed before booking. We didn’t find out until after we had paid and we would have cancelled the booking but it was non-refundable. I understand that there are no staff onsite but it was a real drag to carry all our gear around rainy Edinburgh that last day.

Location was absolutely unbeatable - truly in the heart of Edinburgh with great access to all forms of transit but also quiet and safe.

Our room faces the main street with quite heavy traffic. The window was single layer. We struggled to sleep in the first night due to the noice of traffic outside. The eletric cooker did not work initially so we could not make our breakfast using the food we bought.

Good location, walking disstance from the city centre. Supermarket and garden nearby. Historical building with feature. We were allowed to store our luggage in the provided place for free (altough the website said this service was not provided). Nice and helpful staff to solve the cooker problem in a timely manner.

The room's window faces the street, so there is some traffic noise, but it's not too loud.

Perfectly situated, all attractions are within walking distance. It's also very close to the train station, making it convenient for travel to the airport.

2 single beds joined as double..

Our recent stay at a hotel in Edinburgh booked through Bookings.com was a pleasant experience overall. The hotel's cleanliness and central location made it a convenient choice for exploring the city. Upon arrival, we was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were tidy and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for our stay. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping everything in order throughout our visit, which contributed to a positive overall impression. The hotel's central location was another highlight of our stay. Situated in the heart of Edinburgh, it offered easy access to many attractions and amenities. Whether it was visiting historical landmarks, shopping, or dining out, everything was within walking distance or a short public transport ride away.
