The blind in the bathroom was dirty and one of the stains looked like blood. I reported this and when I returned in the evening (my second night) it had been cleaned to a degree, but marks including the blood stain remained. I was in room 1 of the house and the door at the top of the stairs, adjacent to the room as well as the door to the next bedroom were very noisy.

I have stayed a number of times before, I like the location and the grounds are beautiful.

Self check-in was a little troublesome due to this being a late booking but all was resolved fairly quickly.

A superb place that's in a great location and lovely grounds. The common areas and rooms are well presented, and car parking very easy. Definitely recommend.

Fixed temperature with not quite enough duvet thickness. Was a little cold. Slightly noisy (floorboards etc). Little far out (for food etc.).

Its great, overall I really liked it. Nice rooms. Good for business traveller. No Fuss, easy check in. Staff very helpful. Actually quite pretty grounds.

Noisy - could hear next door TV and doors shutting late at night - poor insulation. Bed comfy but flimsy pillows and woke up early due to lack of black out curtains

Very easy check in system. Loved the cute room and surrounding buildings were pretty! perfect size room for 2. Room was clean and cosy. Had clock in & out info emailed to me with everything I needed to know. Really really good value for money

Taking a 50 pound deposit and taking 24 hours to return it. Being told we would be charged for checking in 20 minutes early. Only given one tiny bar of soap and no other toiletries.

The pillows were too hard and flat. I would have liked an option of a fuller, softer pillow as well as the harder pillow. No shampoo.

Lovely surroundings, quiet , warm room and peaceful. It was tidy and very clean with a classic and stylish feel to the room and buildings. Extra blanket available. Automatic gates were easy to use and made you feel safe. Information on local eateries and local amenities was good. Such a beautiful outlook and surroundings.

We did get cold at night - but hadn’t realised there was a spare blanket in cupboard! Our fault. We ran out of toilet paper but I had an emergency supply in car as I realised consumables were kept to a minimum.

The badly worded note accompanying the keys on arrival which did not indicate how to use the "plastic" fob to get through the glass doors. Had to ring Roger to find out. Very disconcerting after a tiring journey. Potholes in the drive and car park. Lack of "Rectory Farm" sign facing towards Bedford, giving no indication to motorists coming from that direction. Also I suggest the gated entrance be floodlit at night. I consider the entrance to be dangerous for vehicles coming from Bedford and wanting to turn right into the property, and also wanting to turn right when exiting the property.

More options for the in-room tea/coffee/biscuits would have been nice. Walking out from the proprety towards public transport is not the easiest.

Too bad the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but the centre is a short walk away so this is easily solved, besides the rooms are equipped with tea and coffee.

Very nice and quiet location, spacious and clean rooms perfect for short stays. My family and I had a great time, thank you.

Challenging to find your room if already dark. The information emailed prior to arrival suggests a key will be left outside (which it was) however not then clear where you go. The smaller rooms are away from the main building and car park so a little more guidance needed else all very good.

Carpet wasn’t very clean. Bathroom bit tired but was okay. Also felt a bit of a worry how secure collecting the keys would be but presume you have cameras and security.

Clean bed, sheets etc. car parking easy. Room quiet.

Bed very hard, TV remote not working, no staff around so brought some new batteries and fixed it, North Cambridge access not great due to road layout

Would have been good to be able to use the fridge, but wasn't too much of an issue as it was winter and anything left out of a fridge would be ok.

The location was the best point for me, 10 minutes from where I needed to be. The room was nice, room and adequate. The shower was good and I loved the dining table in the room.
