Free on site parking is a big plus & the breakfast was excellent. The 2 star rated hotel has been refurbished since I stayed there a few years ago, the rooms are much brighter & it was a bonus to have a bath as well as a shower option as well.

A little jaded in places, but looks like prog of decoration being undertaken.

Easy to walk into town: 5 mins max. Comfortable bed. Bath. Breakfast in pleasant room and tastey too.

Was initially checked into a room that hadnt been clean by the housekeeper, this was sorted out very quickly by Abby and she promptly gave me a different room

Abby was fantastic, she gave me a little breakfast bag to take away since i was checking out early and would have missed breakfast. Also brought a portable heater to my room as i felt cold. Very friendly and helpful. I felt very safe and comfortable at the inn I also really enjoyed the christmas one man band on christmas eve in the bar in the evening, very festive. My room was clean and roomy, the bathroom was a very good size with little bottles of bodywash and shampoo provided, bathroom and the bedroom were very clean, bed comfortable. Powerful shower with plenty of hot water

Single bed smaller than a normal single bed very creaky. No curtains but blinds had TV Ariel in it so let light in.

Convenient for me as needed to be in area and getting to work the following day.

Decor generally a little tired but it was clean. Shower temperature inconsistent.

Good location. We didn’t have breakfast. Staff friendly and allowed us to use car park after check out so we could carry on exploring the town. Rooms comfortable, a bit quirky but suited our needs. Beds comfy although quite wobbly. We had two rooms and they were next door to each other as requested which worked very well.

It was a bit dated and tired like artex on walls and carpet a bit worn but the hotel was lovely and clean as we didn't stay long in our rooms.

The hotel was in walking distance from the town. It had free parking the staff were polite and really helpful. The breakfast was lovely hot and tasty. And had entertainment on Friday night.

This is a great location for your stay in Monmouth. It's convenient to have free parking on site The cooked breakfast was outstanding. The rooms are a little jaded but this is more than made up for by the lovely people working there. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! There is a public bar too, with a tasty real ale on tap when we visited.
