The lack of sea view in the room was disappointing. It’s not completely clear when you book that there are some rooms with no sea view. La la room didn’t have a sea view. The room was an excellent (but a little small), bed really comfortable, shower excellent. Sound proofing wasn’t great through door - u could hear everyone coming and going which wakes you up. La la room is also below the family room and when kids are running around although you can’t hear voices it does sound like elephants on the wooden floors.

Bit noisy, fine for a night but too small for anything other than a short trip.

Excellent set up, great for an overnight stay after a lovely meal at the restaurant. Really comfortable bed, small but functional bathroom.

the room we had, double with sea view, was too small, also bathroom was very small. however, restaurant was excellent!

It's a little bit small, probably not the ideal location for multiple nights, but as a place to stay while visiting the restaurant it is ideal

It was a lovely room with a good view of the harbour and literally a stones throw from the restaurant, which was the reason we stayed.

Parking arrangements. It says parking is available but this is not the case. You can park for free near the hotel/restaurant between 18:00 pm and 08:30 am. However I took the advise from the hotel staff to park in the NPC car park opposite the restaurant. The fee for this is £20,- ! Not amused

The short ,outside walk from venue to rooms . ( it was raining). Heating not working. Portable heater installed but not on. It took a while to heat up I think when booking a room it should be made clear,the rooms not at restaurant .We would have brought coats

Tiny thimble like cups (give us mugs!) and huge kettle that can't be filled from tap, absolutely tiny sink and very tight bathroom which doesn't drain well when using shower. Nowhere to put clothes, not one drawer or storage, just two hangers. No mini fridge and no chair or desk. This is a bed in a room. I felt a lack of privacy too due to so many windows with people walking by and houses closeby opposite.

Lovely decor and comfy bed, lots of coffee and tea. Very clean and tidy. Milk supplied, the breakfast was absolutely superb

Bathroom door did not shut, basin was very low and glass shelf made it a bit hard to use. Lights were not all working and rooms generally were a bit too dark at times.

Convenient location, lovely bed linen/towels and tea /coffee facilities. Breakfast was amazing, lovely food and fabulous service. Staff very responsive to turning up heating when needed as weather was very changeable and helping with other arrangements.

A slight issue that probably was our issue really. We live in a very rural position.. The sound of bin lorrys early in the morning and fish market . Was a little surprising.. I didn't know ice being scraped could be so loud ! How ever we did see the funny side . Especially when the seagulls started to scream 😱

Couldn't find any fault with rooms and food. All very good. Great staff. Loved the tom juice and vodka In room. Spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed.

Slight issue with shower as in the overhead one came on when selecting the handheld one but that was it. It wasn't that big a deal otherwise I would have raised it with the staff. It was more like a niggle!

Everything in bathroom getting soaked, but it’s just funny, nothing to complain about

We have stayed s couple of times in the Rocksalt rooms. They get us right where we want to be. Parking close by. Comfy beds and quiet. We didnt eat in restaurant this time, as I now have shellfish allergy! Boo! Breakfasy]t was excellent, nice hog and granola followed by s nice cooked selection. Coffee is AMAZING. Staff are very jolly and have time for a natter. Room was small, but we knew that when we booked. Shower is more of a wet room and everywhere gets soaked. Ideal for 2 nights. Great walks locally and beach/old train track walk was great after brekky

Bathroom was quite unclean with lots of half used mini toiletries in the shower and the shower did not run warm or hot at all.

Really great location, very cute rooms with everything you need for a nights stay. Breakfast with a view was the best hotel breakfast we’ve had.
