Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomMy room was a bit noisy but not sure why. Perhaps near the boiler or kitchen extraction fan but I shut the bathroom door and it didn't bother me. The shower took a while to run hot but you expect that in bigger properties. It certainly wasn't a problem once I'd figured that.
I have to stay in the area quite regularly. Best place I've found in terms of being comfortable and pretty clean. Nice big room. I can't comment on breakfast as room only but that's a personal preference. Bit faded in places but I quite like that. Very good value.

United KingdomA bit run down, peeling paint and wallpaper in places, little damp patches. I imagine in it's hay-day this was a grand and beautiful hotel but needs a refurb. I guess that's reflected in the price which was great value for the size of the suite we booked.
Huge room, lovely view, great location, friendly and helpful staff. Afternoon cream tea was delicious and great value. Good priced room for the size and view, and comfortable bed.

Plenty of choice for breakfast. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Fantastic sea views. A real gem. Historic architecture with well kept feature ( recently decorated?). I stay here 2/3 times a year. And I love it. Front facing great views. Rear quite (no noisy sea!). Large rooms on lower floors. Very nice people on front desk and restaurant. Helpful (and tolerant!).
