We had a lovely time at NYE. Although the weather wasn't great we still managed to made the most of the hot tub, had a lovely country walk and delicious dinner at the nearby pub on NYE. Ruth was really friendly and helpful.

I think a gazebo over the hot tub would be a good idea incase it rains and a bit more lighting but it was a lovely stay

I'm glad my friend was driving as I would have struggled with those roads! But that's the price you pay for truly getting away from it all!

The caravan was spacious and really well equipped. The hot tub was clearly very well maintained. It was a perfect place to completely chill out and do nothing. Ruth was incredibly friendly and on hand to help out when needed.

Everything was perfect!!

Ruth and Dean were extremely friendly. The caravan was beautifully clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were beautifully laundered. The shower was brilliant!! The caravan is in a beautiful part of Britain. A beautiful place to relax and get away from it all!!

Having to go home!

Must admit, we were a little unsure about staying in a caravan, but needn't have been! Ruth met us on arrival, showed us the accommodation and how to use the hot tub and then left us to enjoy. The caravan was spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, cooker, toaster and a wonderful retro style microwave. Clean bedding, plenty of towels, good quality TV and even games to keep us amused. Free good speed WiFi. The shower was surprisingly powerful. A top quality hot tub, again spotlessly clean, set in a secluded area of garden with a BBQ nearby. The location is perfect for a quiet stay, but just 15 minutes from the wonderful historic city of Shrewsbury. We don't hesitate in recommending Ruth's Rest and will be back as soon as time allows!

It’s hard to find fault at Ruth’s retreat they have thought of everything… I will say this though could do with a few more pillows on the bed ones a bit too flat for us!!

There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful this little get away is, it’s a little slice of heaven calm & tranquility with the most amazing hosts. A visit here is highly recommended….

Being on a bike...the access to the property via single track roads with a lot of gravel in places, wasn't ideal.

Location was very quiet thus a great sleep. The accommodation was clean and provided everything that you'd need for a stay.

This was our second stay with Ruth. Lovely property. Peaceful location. Fantastic stay! Being greater by the little doggies every morning was an added bonus :)

Only 1 pillow each on the bed which were very flat as it is. CCTV pointed right at hot tub (I know it's said in description there is CCTV and there is a sign on cabin door) but pointing directly at the hot tub just made me bit uneasy and uncomfortable. Felt like I couldn't relax completely in there. It was just a bit off putting. I would of preferred it hidden to honest.

Clean as a whistle. Exactly as you see it in pictures. No area has not been cleaned. Couldn't fault the cleaning whatsoever. Its situated in a lovely quiet area so you could really unwind. Ruth was very welcoming and helpful. Easy to contact. It was pur anniversary and there was a lovely little sign in the living room wishing us a happy anniversary which was a thoughful tough! Lovely big hot tub which was ready to use when we arrived. Big enough room space, the whole accomdation is very well looked after. Would definitely recommend to others and return in the future.
